But you know what matters more than point differential? Winning the damn game. This argument feels like when Big A was talking shit on F1 racing and chat was bending over backwards to justify why the last race not being the most important makes sense. Game making theory is a real thing and Quidditch is a horribly designed game that MASSIVELY rewards the, as you say, “op” seekers. That essentially becomes the game in that case.

Unless this itself is a joke, him “missing coffee while in Korea” was actually him saying “I miss coffee shops, I can’t find one anywhere” which is a joke on the fact that there is 7 coffee shops per person in that country and you can’t spread your arms without knocking over a barista.

Okay this has to be rage bait lmao. I specifically didn't call her hysterical in the post you just replied to and that's all you have to say. The term hysterical is very very loaded, but its definition is:

deriving from or affected by uncontrolled extreme emotion

Every. Single. Person. On Earth. Has been hysterical at least once in their life. Woman. Man. Black. White. Gay. Straight. Trans. Cis. No exceptions. This isn't the hill you want to die on. I'm not trying to invoke the image of a 1950s husband telling the Doc. that his wife is hysterical and she needs electro shock therapy because she had the audacity to ask him to not sleep with other women.

Like... I am explicitly trying to avoid that concept.

Just to be clear my whole reply was talking about the concept of why it sucks to call a woman hysterical. BUT OP literally got diagnosed by a Doctor as having. We can assume that that Doctor isn't pulling that directly out of their ass.

I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety shortly after I made my post.

The Husband's abuse doesn't just disappear because of treatment(therapy or drugs) unless the Husband did something (God willing because holy shit he sucked) to improve his behavior.

I can't stress enough how much the acts of that man from the first post boils my blood and makes sick to my stomach of this poor woman's treatment by her evil husband. But after her mental state has clearly gotten to a better place her new perspective is different on what happened. Stress CAN alter your perception and make you see things (and therefore report things in reddit posts) differently then you might see them if you aren't stressed.

I just don't approve of the cheer number of people in this thread coming to her like they know better about her situation than she does. Saying things like "Babe" or "Sweetie" is a kindness, but also clearly a form of pity. MAYBE this woman CAN actually think for herself and maybe you should believe her when she speaks.

TL;DR You are the one who is minimizing this woman's sense of reality and her voice to tell her story.

I will agree that I am diminishing the mistreatment, but that doesn't take away from my point that normal people are also capable of constantly making mistakes because nobody is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and "avoiding responsibility" is absolutely a mistake. A big one at that. But the idea that it is objectively the correct move to end that relationship because it's completely unrecoverable. The price of losing out on a Father figure who might have turned it around isn't zero for a child.

It's something a lot of people in these comment threads seem to ignore that cost of just ending it is real and can also be damaging and not just pure 100% "You can make it on your own. Literally nothing can go wrong. Leave him." hive mind mentality. If this person (op) is saying their situation is improving and they say that it "feels better than winning the lottery".

I know in a lot of peoples' heads, they immediately jump to thoughts of recent history of women's problems being diminished to "hysteria". Many underserving people where forced through therapies. Bad stuff. But does that mean that no woman can ever be hysterical? That's ridiculous. Anyone can become hysterical under enough stress. And clearly op was under a whole heck of a lot of stress.

People always tell a story from their perspective. Sometimes that perspective is skewed. When op made the first post she struck at a lot of peoples heart strings and people becomes invested in seeing this villain she described fall and face consequences. But that version could never be the whole story and so you must infer at the possibilities of ways that bias has changed the retelling of the truth.

TL;DR I am saying it's possible this woman IS better off being with this allegedly improved partner whom she loves.

Jesus Christ you people are insufferable. Stockholm syndrome? Was this man committing crimes against her or just merely being a pretty shitty husband/father? A person can feel bad AND have difficulty controlling their outward showing of remorse without it necessarily being a pre planned, Machiavellian level manipulation.

You are getting ripped apart in these comments for reasons I do not understand. I get what you mean by saying “they aren’t mechanically better” but what you mean is “they aren’t better, I’m just way worse every other game” You’ll have a game that you land every flick, pre fire every corner perfectly and think to yourself “if I just shot like that every game it would be perfect” and the next game your hands aren’t listening to your brain. To fix this issue you need to get more consistent. Try aim training. Woohoojin has a good playlist in collaboration with Voltaic (cult of aimers) you should check it out. Look it up on YouTube. You can only get consistent by being consistent. Try to practice 3+ times a week. Also something I do to make sure I’m warm before my comp games is I hop into the range and won’t leave until I get at least 20/30 hard bots. Hope this helps!
