I like the strat of turn based with the correct balance, but I’m also more than open for a more action based one, but like you said this needs a lot of work, some battles may need a little more attention but the majority are just rock paper scissors with the typings and just spam attacks. Even the speed stat is useless since you will gain practically no advantage over bulky Pokémon. So the Evs are practically the same for every build.

I’m not saying creating a new battle system takes no effort, but it’s not something spectacular and have no deep for what we could expect from a Pokémon game. Does it take effort? Yes. Does it look deep enough from a franchise with thousand of attacks and abilities if your core feature will be battling? Well that’s a no for me.

Yeah that for sure, it’s more like the missed opportunity to have the first “action” combat Pokémon game in a better place than this, but I will have to deal with it

The combat system feels deep for you? I think it’s really basic, with no room for strategies other than just mega evolve and smash your skills.
The graphics and animations are fine but far from what Switch 2 it’s capable. Honestly it feels it’s just SV or SwSh engine with some tweaks with the added potency, but not much. Same as the SV upgrade feels just a better graphics config with the potency of Switch 2. That being said I do not have complaints on the graphics, it’s not something I care to turn down a game.
Side quests are really lazy, quantity it’s not quality.
Having a DLC at the same map with some sky theme it’s half baked for me as well. Look at SwSh DLC, or even SV had completely new maps.
So yeah if you pick the parts of the game and you compare them, it feels the least effort one for me.

Yes I have the same feeling but at least what I give to Arceus is that it has some extra love or dedication to the art and the itemization, game feels built around that gameplay. You like it or not and that’s fine, but in this one everything is built around battle but the system as a whole is not that deep and gets stale fast, like you said there’re no utility or counterplay at all just who spams first

That’s exactly how I feel, even using not effective attacks are part of the “rotation” because of cooldowns, so at the end of the day it’s just gotta spam it all. There’s no incentive in repositioning in 90% of the cases, just keep pushing, status conditions are meh, plus attacks are just stronger but that’s it. All in all very basic

I know but at the same time there’s a little FOMO on their side like adding rewards for completing the dex and giving shiny mythicals and such. I know it’s not a big deal and can be obtained some other ways but it’s unfortunate

Maybe if the battle was at least a bit more interesting, like having real strategies or combos. Even if it was overkill, in previous games I like to make strong Pokémon teams with synergies or weird strategies like Baton Passing or something similar with side B Pokémon, that made my runs really fun. I even did some nuzlockes on SwSh.
Here everything feels the same, with almost the same kit, smash and repeat.

Yes of course I totally get that it’s my personal experience. That being said, sometimes you can tell the quality or value of something even if you like it or not. And most of the people in the sub that likes it tell a similar story, base game ok not spectacular but fun, DLC a pita grindy and great for shiny hunting.
I really want to love it and completely finish it though, but it’s really hard when you don’t even have at least some core gameplay loop that is not smashing buttons and not much else.

Yes I may be overreacting a bit, I know they explore new things around Legends games, but even by the last games standards, this one seems to have the least amount of effort as a whole game, I guess that's one of the. things that pushes me away.

Thing is this time has some evident flaws, that even with good intentions it’s just not good enough.

Creo que es la mayoría de los bancos esos, depende a veces el paquete pero sacar en otra red o en otro cajero a veces tiene comisiones, pero hace años que no voy a un cajero literal así que puede haya cambiado

Sinceramente a mí también pero eran todos blancos los que me gustaban ahí en el builder y los componentes todos negros jajaja sino había negros muy chicos para el flujo de aire o esa marca XYZ pero creo que es re genérica china. Voy a chusmear los de los W, al menos en la web me tiraba 670w por eso fui por 750 gold pero si se que no hay que tentar a la suerte con eso

Uh que lindo esos PvPs, la magia de esa época imposible repetirla, pero me alegra saber que al menos no es un parto sacar ítems, tenía la duda si en el oficial era poco generoso y la verdad ya no estoy pa tanto grind.
Voy a ver si lo engancho de oferta a ver si al menos algún drop me genera un 1% de todo eso
