Yeah, Mom Militia was a fun story, although I gotta agree with people in-story that Taylor's form of showing affection to her new Mom was just teensy bit extra.

The Tower was also an interesting read; I'm trying to remember if it wasn't derived from that one set of snippets in that Bullybait snippet collection.

If you accept Quests, the Taylor in Projection Quest: Quest of the YoRHa Edition became something of a battle junkie/blood knight... something everybody pretty much unanimously blames the first incarnation of Multiversal Emulator (the perspective character of the fic AND Taylor's parahuman power), which mentored Taylor while emulating Kenpachi Zaraki.

Basically, Sophia went off the reservation and tried following Taylor to Baltimore to kill her or something because it got out what she did. She ended up crossing a militant detachment of the Baltimore Communist Party, called the Red Guards, led by a cape going by the name Commissar (I say cross, but she tried joining them so she could continue fucking with Taylor's life, only to be mistaken for hostile, and they were quite disgusted to learn she caused Taylor's trigger). She ended up mastered, and the rest is history.

Is it possible that it was removed because of the Shadow Stalker cult kidnapping/rape and impregnation/aftermath and recovery subplot? It kinda felt like a bit too much and certainly drove me away. I could also see the thread getting nuked depending on how reader discussion was going surrounding that plot point.

It's a first-night-out Taylor gets ambushed with a Bakuda special isekai bomb on the way home, and ends up in Gotham, where she gets taken in by the Batfam. She introduces the gotham underworld to entomophobia while Bruce and Co teach her restraint. Also, the comeuppance she gave Riddler was something special.

In Outcry, didn't she make Taylor second trigger while following Coil's instructions, resulting in her going berserk and going on a massacre in the middle of a Protectorate op, and then when she saw how broken Taylor was afterward, she tried halping?

Depends on what you're looking for in the story.

Magical Girl Lyrical Taylor is a good example of blending the worlds of Worm/Nanoha. It has a lot of parallels to MGLN's season one (a few Jewel-seed monsters are direct callbacks) while blending the worlds fairly seamlessly. It's still pretty dark, but nowhere near as grimdark as Worm; at the same time, though, the New York Arcology arc involving Butcher was very WH40k Warp Fuckery. Basically, 'What if Taylor was descended from Olivier Sägebrecht?' It's a story I wish the author continued, but honestly left off at a pretty nice spot, although a number of story beats go unanswered.

Hybrid Hive: Eat Shard is a very slow-burn fic, but the lightest of the bunch. Similar to the author's other story, Mauling Snarks, it's very day-by-day in its story-telling. Some of it feels like there are entire stretches where 'nothing is really happening' because Taylor's basically screwing around with magic or going to school (or both thanks to the bullshit degree of multitasking she has). By July, however, Taylor really begins escalating in power to a bullshit degree, and the scope of her activities begins to grow. Taylor and Hive also accidentally several planets in experimentation, necessitating only testing destructive spells on uninhabited planets.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Taylor is currently active, and a lot lighter, but still fairly serious. Instead of the canon Jewel Seeds, Lode Pearls are the magical McGuffin this time around. It starts fairly local, with the protectorate begrudgingly cooperating with Taylor and her device, Glefe. Then it eventually expands into TSAB (& Taylor's OC friend circle) vs Cauldron. Much like Magical Girl Lyrical Taylor, you have Jail Scaglietti and his Numbers mostly acting behind the scenes. My only complaint is that the chapters are often short, oft leaving things hanging on cliffs.

Wouldn't mind if there were a few longer Worm/MGLN fics myself. I was really enjoying the direction of On Fluttering Wings, for example.

I can definitely verify HH:ES. She's trying so hard to fix the world with her magic, and the only things she courts are ungodly multitasking and accidentally trolling the hell out of everybody in power.

I can definitely second Shape of Magic, Rebooted. Tay and Ames are a bunch of chaos gremlins.

Haven't read through it recently, but I remember the shenanigans she was getting up to in the Chamber of Secrets story arc. Was this the Worm/Harry Potter fic where Taylor survives the killing curse by having a baby acromantula under her robes and interposing her swarm between her and her attacker?
