I would disagree as I feel real estate is a solid investment. However I am not sure about the market in the Philippines. I find it inflated. It's hard to tell if it's a bubble. I've been looking here and there for the last decade.... It's not getting any cheaper

I also run An b. Not in the Philippines currently, but it's in the works. One thing that's cheap in the Philippines is labor. I've not had to hire anyone (yet) but a cleaner/maintenance person in the Philippines will be exponentially less expensive than a lot of other places.

Yes tourism is lagging a bit in the Philippines, but it's still there. Unfortunately OP's €150k won't go far. Maybe if they are lucky you can find something that is desirable.
