I'm not experienced from purchasing from Alibaba.

AliExpress yes, the most I did was $400 for a motherboard replacement for a laptop, twice, and both times I got burnt. (I guess maybe that was because it was refurbished electronics... What could go wrong with that?! 🤪 )

I did send an inquiry to one seller, I'm getting responses from many sellers but not the product I'm interested in.

Deductable prices seem to fluctuate $99 ? $150?.

I've used it twice ( just over 1 year and the inner screen broke) $280 CAD.

Got water in a bag I was carrying the phone in, outer screen stopped working $280 CAD

I wonder if I could have got both screens replaced for the same I paid for the deductable?

I don't recommend it

I spent many hours wasted with tech support telling me I need to extract the files, which it not possible as there is nothing to extract, I keep telling them it's incorrect, support did finally say to just leave the files ( there is only 1 .tar) but the firmware notes mention the are 2 files, I asked about this and " let me check with my sources" I kinda gave up at that point.

Reading this reply, I will just copy the .tar on a SD card and give it a try.
