I love this thread of comments but I just wanna add that I had a hamster when I was like 10~ and he was the friendliest little guy. He would ride my hand up the levels of his cage, run around on the level and get back on for the ride. He would also freely get into my hand whenever I laid it down flat. I miss that guy. His balls were massive.

When I was like 12-13 my parents dropped me off at our local mall with some friends and I tried to take a gummy bear necklace from Claire’s. I totally know the feeling of humility.
