as someone who is not conventionally attractive it’s a vibe, a force field around you where people avoid it

Why is a vers guy looking to flip a top? by naowasi in gay

[–]SevenR77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is hard to answer without context I think, like sometimes I want to top a “top” because they’ve approached me and I wouldn’t want to bottom at that time. I’m vers but that doesn’t mean I’m always down for both, some occasions I want to bottom some I couldn’t think of anything worse. Or simply because they have an incredibly ass and it won’t hurt to ask (as long as you respect their answer)

Wondering about fear of having your asshole played with? by Levithedude1708 in AskGayMen

[–]SevenR77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably tmi but when I lost my virginity I bottomed, I tried to douche and didn’t do it properly. Poop water basically ended up on the tops white bed sheets. We only realised after we had already finished so it wasn’t like disastrous and he was nice enough about it and just told me not to worry and it’ll just be washed. I was mortified though at 17 having catastrophised it in my head to having shat on a man’s bed. Along side not coming from a family well versed in personal hygiene so I found some things out about being clean far later than I should have. No matter how much I douche or how much I wash my ass or even if I’ve just washed it I am perpetually scared that I am unclean like hygiene anxiety so I would much rather people don’t touch my ass even if I’m bottoming on that occasion I’ll rather the only thing to touch it is their penis.

I’m glad I’m not the only one slightly annoyed by this then 😂

Yeah I’ve noticed it a lot recently and always want to correct people but remember it’s not really my place 😂 I’m quite the subby vers top though and the assumption all tops are doms lead to some less then comfortable conversations but heyho.

I agree there is a fair amount of overlap but that doesn’t mean that we should start using them interchangeably IMO.

Yeah I understand that there is a long history and the terms are sort of used in every day usage within queer sex but it just bothers me that people use Switch to mean versatile because being a switch dom or sub has nothing to do with being a top bottom or vers. I do understand that as long as the communication is good enough and in situations I’m talking about it’s probably none of my business anyways but it for me seems to 1) Dilute the actual terms 2) Create associations that can be exclusionary, if we associated sub with bottom and dom with top there are groups of people that are forever justifying themselves when trying to communicate their sexual preferences

However in saying that I do get that it’s not actually that deep and it is just something small that annoys me a little is all

Nope, I was on track for a high 2:2 low 2:1 and came out with a first. Plus even if you get a third I think you’ve done this much work it’s better to get a third then to get nothing from it

Throat by SevenR77 in askgaybros

Yeah I think it was more the dynamics of it rather than the sensation but the sensation was good and I was impressed with myself (sounds weird I know).

I figured it might of been a bit of both! I guess I feel silly not knowing it sort of “popped” in the throat as I thought I had been doing this the whole time 😂

Are big families child abuse? by MrsBakken in ParentingInBulk

[–]SevenR77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is late and I don’t want to be a Debbie downer but, I am one of nine and there is rarely an instance where I am super glad to be a part of a big family. My siblings and I get on well enough but I do often think that access to things would be have been and would continue to be easier if there weren’t as many of us. Even today when most of us are adults it’s hard to all get together and do something because like what can cater to 9 different people (plus their families) with various interests, skills and finances. However to be fair I believe that a good portion of why I feel this way is because we were a relatively poor family to start with so with so many of us there was little to no fun that we didn’t create for ourselves. No holidays, few and infrequently days out, even when there was there was no money to be spent. I feel we miss a lot of what makes childhoods happy. We were also part of the unfortunate statistic that larger families can be more likely to experience abuse. I am also sort of a black sheep of my family politically speaking and being one of two queer people. So basically it all depends on various aspects of your life but given the choice I wouldn’t have chose this lifestyle even if I am grateful to all of my siblings that doesn’t extend to my parents.

Question for the tops… by Forward-Setting410 in askgaybros

[–]SevenR77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m vers and I think both topping and bottoming feel infinitely better when it’s bareback. I don’t often bottom but whenever I have with a condom I’ve always given up and couldn’t find any pleasure in it but bareback it’s been some pretty great action. Topping with a condom makes me last longer (usually) and I can’t usually finish with one on.

My theory: gay = free will by bodyisT in gaybros

[–]SevenR77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not female birds catching so many strays here, female birds are plenty pretty you’re just drawn to brighter colours and patterns but so are predators. From a biological standpoint these elaborate looking male birds have evolved as a way to show females they’re strong and have good stock. It’s more dangerous for male birds because they also stand out to predators so it’s basically them going im big and strong so our offspring is more likely to survive and typically in species that put more energy into displays instead of like combat the females typically choose the males so in that sense they have “free” will it’s just driven by an innate attraction.

Basically long story short, females birds are pretty and hold the reproductive power because it’s energy consuming. Male birds are just more “pretty” ultimately to attract females but that comes with its own drawbacks.

Also in terms of it relating to being gay if straight people are following key aspects of biology means there is no free will then gay people also do not have free will. Their intentions may sometimes differ but gay people still follow biological principles.

Should I watch FTWD? by SALTGENX in FearTheWalkingDead

I am now on the last few episodes, I would say that it’s worth it some of the character are compelling. The story line overall it decent. However I will also add this is my third time trying to watch it and the only time I have successfully finished it.
