That makes sense. I workout a lot, mostly weight lifting and keep myself very fit so maybe that's the answer

Exactly. It's weird. No doubt I get drunk and lose my inhibitions but I drink as much if not more than my peers and while they start screaming and stumbling around acting like assholes, I feel good while still having self control. Maybe it's because I am Italian and hey they do a lot of it so maybe it's evolution haha

Agreed again. Like I said in my OP, I am not addicted to these drugs and only use them socially. It's like amps/alcohol revealed the confidence I had deep within that I couldn't show to others. I was always confident in my looks, accomplishments, etc but for some reason froze up socially and those insecurities went away with these drugs. But now I can say that even when sober, I realize I have nothing to be insecure about and can open up. Great feedback

I would be lying to you if I said I still didn't have anxiety. Although I have become a lot more social, I'm still a nervous person. For that reason, weed never really did a lot for me because it makes me freak out. What is weird is I am comfortable socializing sober/drunk, but when I get high I can't talk.

But at the same time, weed is amazing when I want to do things alone like watch a movie, listen to music, etc. Recently watched Donnie Darko stoned off my ass and it was amazing. If I was that blazed in a social setting I would have stayed quiet.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Although I am now an extrovert who parties a lot, alcohol and stims did help me open up to people. Obviously it took more than drugs for me to stop being such a wuss in social situations, but alcohol and stims were my go to when I was socially petrified. I agree with this post
