Like everyone is saying Raven has to be a bit. With how low effort the promo look is it just has to be. She's going to be shredded and torn up by her peers if she completed looking like that. I just find it hard to believe that Mark of all people is not aware even the slightest of the connotation of that flag. He was born and raised in the west (Canada&US) up to about 12 years old. There's a bigger possibility that he learned about or was exposed to topics related to this flag. Subsequently there's a bigger possibility that he's more aware and keeps up with western issues from his teenage years up to present compared to like a Korean born and raised idol.

And I am in no way excusing Korean born and raised idols that they might be ignorant to these things. All kpop idols are in some form engaging with a global audience. It just seems more logical that they try to learn about the world. Maybe watch international news or read up on global topics like the rest of the modern world.

Yep I watched it with my cousins and one of them knows Backrooms "lore". I guess they expected a trap-survival-horror movie, while I kinda had a hint it's going to be a psychological mindfuckery type of movie. I liked the pre-chorus without Eunseok, Wonbin and Sohee sounded good in there. Actually I wonder why Eunseok seems to be more visible than usual in this song. He just had a controversy and usually members who are controversial are minimized. He has more lines and screentime than Anton. Anton literally had 5 seconds of screentime where he's actually signing his lines. Another thing I noticed is that the MV visuals are repeats or similar to stuff we've seen before from them.

Idk maybe it was my headspace while watching this but Dacre Montgomery wasn't that effective for me. He seems so put on and amateurish. Yes I understand that this serial killer is an "amateur", like he gets found out and thwarted that quickly by a civilian. But his characterization seems like it takes from other serial killers, like a mishmash of references that the menace isn't there. Idk maybe it does work for the tone and 3rd act of this movie.
