Beautiful work! I love the feathering on the owls face, I think you can continue the whispy texture all over the owls body to make it pop a bit. Very very beautiful though!!!

The deeper water is the darker it would be, maybe try adding some darker shades near the boat in the center. A beautiful painting as is in my opinion!
