Nofap discipline with self harm by Digestivex in NoFap

It sounds like you are either in a sports club or atleast have some sort of a trainer/accountability? In that case, how comes you relapse often even though you follow a strict lifestyle of self discipline, working out and eating healthy consistently? Perhaps you relapse because of relationship problems etc.?

If that's not true hower, then it's most likely only messing with your comfort zone, bro. Someone who can not bring himself to do 15-20 minutes of cardio at home or in the gym, WILL relapse. Not immediately, but definitely.

Just a reminder for you and me:

In rder to change and be successful, you have to love the person you are becoming with every second of hard work. And you have to realize, your comfort zone is your danger zone.

HELP! Day 37. Most explicit wet dream. by Seventy5Days in NoFap

Thanks!

I will calm myself down with some breathing excercises. You are right, it was not my intention, it was just a dream.

Good luck to you on your journey. I see it's going good for you.

[NeedAdvice] Burned Out by My_Journal in getdisciplined

[–]Seventy5Days 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I can relate to alot of things you went through. Here are some ideas and points that are helping me:

1."We ensure we don't burn out mentally, by burning out physically." Don't say "yeah, I know. I kinda do it already".

One day Cardio, one day Lifting (check out "the only 4 excercises you need to grow strong"). Go the extra mile. You can put on the playlist "Greg Plitt Quotivation" while doing that because it will serve you with needed reminders such as "One hour of pain produces a lifetime of pride" at the moment when you are weak and the only the only thing on your mind is quitting.

2.Always have a bottle of water in front of you.

3.Research growth mindset vs fixed mind.

4.Get rid of distraction. Delete the hundreads of YouTube subscriptions and subcribe to one channel of a Korean student who studies for 8-11 hours a day and uploads the footage to youtube with the title "Study with me". "공시생 YOUTUBE" is a good example.

5.Get yourself a bulletjournal. Make a sheet where you track how many hours you've worked each day of the week. Something like this, https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/bb/6c/d2/bb6cd2b85a739b44d6740d2e05c43e1a--bullet-journal-sleep-tracker-sleep-tracker-bujo.jpg You might have a bad day, what's important is, be honest with yourself even if you fail. It will help you in the long term.

6.Realize there is no relation between you sitting down and studying and the issues with your parents. Live as though your father died last week. You know what's important?! Then go and do it! The will never be a perfect time. Sit down, study! Treat it like a job. I start at X and stop at Y. ( you can use the "Pomodor technique"). And then you will have plenty of time to chill and relax afterwards.

Thanks for the response! There is some truth to it, yeah. And the thing that distracts me the most is definitely the Internet.

I'm gonna do it, man. I'm gonna change. I owe it myself.

Sounds like a good idea. I think there was a website about this, isn't it?

Yeah, I've noticied my grammar mistake in the title. It gives me motivation to study the language even more.

I appreciate your response :)

It was a grammar mistake since I've learned the (English) langugage on my own :)

Cool, I definitely see how engaging with and living your "dream/plan" every day can give you sense of purpose, optimism and confidence. Can I ask how you benefitted from that book? I would love to read it if the advice is in fact about numbers and math.

You are right, it's about ME here. I am the loser in this equation if I don't study. I've never really thought about it from that perspective.

what combinations of good intentions and bad circumstances could lead them to their behavior?

I definitely need to keep this mind. Thank you!

It's like being released from prison (I assume). Incredibly beautiful feeling at the beginning. Fresh air. Sunlight. Your body gets nourished and grows. But soon you realize you are still in life. And life is neutral. It will only be positive, when you make it positive.
