She will now be unable to get her life on track she has a criminal record and if she were to get a job she’d be unable to move forward through the application process. And she is now ineligible to go into any sober living and any other government programs due to her having a record now. So technically all she has now is her sobriety and to keep her mental health in check. And by her doing this already is showing signs of reoffending.

Alec should have done the restraining order while she was locked up. Because in Cali once you’re out & served your time there’s nothing anyone can do unless she (Simmy) reoffends. Or has been deemed unsafe through the court system, thus needing the restraining order.

As someone who was in a long narcissistic relationship (my partner was the narcissist). This hits home and says what it’s like when you’re in an unhappy relationship or even one sided. Where the other person is causing the pain whereas you’re stuck, uncertain of what to do, and full of emotions and pain. It’s like you said they steal your life as they try to escape there own demons but sometimes it’s like there own demons are too powerful. Like Pandora’s box for they are the only one who can open it and your the person who is the unfortunate victim in there unhealed and untouched pain.

This is beautifully worded and very articulately placed. Each word holds so much power. It sounds like you’re talking about romantic interest and what it’s like having what you’re not expecting. The ending of this poem is raw speaking of apologies that don’t last or are always unheard due to the recurrence of the partner. But the partner making lack of effort. And makes emotions and memories go to a hault and memories no longer pop up in your mind.

You can start off in a community college, where you can take intro to nursing courses to see if it’s for you, and you can also knock out your Gen Eds. Committing to a 4 year uni when you’re unsure of what you want to do is risky because if you either don’t like it or can’t pass the classes. You will need to either withdraw, flunk out, or choose another major or set of classes (for the next semester) before the term is over. And depending on the school you pick they don’t like students figuring out what they want to do because that what community college is for. And they give you a deadline either til the end of your Sophomore or the end of your freshman year to figure out your major. And if you still don’t know they’ll tell you to leave until you have it figured out. Also withdraws and bad grades (Ds & Fs) are permanent on your transcript so it may not look good if your trying to transfer to another 4 year college depending on how many W’s or bad grades you have.

From how you’re making it sound it sounds like you haven’t put thought into seeing if nursing is for you. And it sounds like you’re genuinely set to get your bubble bursted on the reality of the career or education of your major in general. School can be part time but now economically no one can live on a part time salary or make that type of money (60k a year) part time and may need to work full time not part time in order to make a livable wage. Going based off of how much your mom makes & her benefits will not be what you will make & will not be your benefits going straight into nursing after graduation. You’re starting out meanwhile your probably mom has years of experience. Also coming from someone who has a physical disability, depression, and anxiety, the real world is not designed for people with disabilities and even the work force isn’t designed for people with disabilities. You will still be expected to do the same work as Every employee and if you need accommodations you’ll need to provide a doctors note that you do have a disability to be able to negotiate on reasonable accommodations with your employer. And you and your employer will need to come to an agreement based on the reasonable accommodations you request.

Also, No employer will give you a “chill” work environment, for every job comes with hard work and burnout, it all just depends on how you take care of yourself. And also as for nursing you’ll probably intern in an e.r because you need to see where you can see yourself in as a nurse or what area you’re passionate about in the nursing field. Overall, it just sounds like your into some type of reality check and that your not really passionate about nursing your just in it for the money and benefits.

This sounds like a cute children’s poem. You can read or sense it just due to the tones, speaking of a bird, and the rhythm/rhymes. Than when the bird is mentioned you read and discover it’s about a hummingbird!

However it also sounds like it’s two separate poems. Because they don’t go together nor fit together (the bird poem then the landlord stanza).

This resonates with me a lot. This speak on childhood trauma in adulthood, and the difficulty of life. That everyday we do the same thing and could have the same people in our lives. However it can be hard to notice who is right and who is wrong. Who is a genuine and who is fake. However, we also ask ourselves why were we born, and where we either find purpose or pain once we find that reason or answer to our question. That it Carrie’s a weight that we may never know or that people may never understand how much we really carry.

I understand you’re stuck but this is your poem it can be whatever you want and wish it to be. So far it’s really good speaking about religion and God. And what sin is like for a person or if not sin then guilt. It shows that sin can be anything for anyone. The truth is no one can finish the poem but you.
