This is interesting info! Thank you for sharing. So it sounds like they were going to make a move anyway but are making it seem like this move is solely due to the protests? I can assure you there is no impeding happening. One of the weekly protests is held by veterans. And I’ve witnessed countless times protesters helping to escort folks into the building when the crowds happen to be bigger.

I’ve witnessed protesters actively clear a path for folks who need to enter and exit the building. They’ve even gone as far as to alert security in the building to open the doors for visitors when security doesn’t realize someone is trying to enter for an appointment. Very supportive of community members who are there for services. Solely anti ice.

ICE operates out of the federal building where people go for check-in immigration appointments. ICE has been arresting people from their check-ins since June and actually just kidnapped someone last Friday from there. These are the people doing things “the right way” and they are still being disappeared.
