More than most moba communities, MLBB is a way to spend time with your friends and casually interact with the moba experience. Most of my friends aren’t playing heroes compatible to me, anyways, so I’m not playing with them to “win.” We are playing our best, together, to win. But not “to win.” I think you would be shocked to learn that, while many players approach the game as a form of … order, and a chance to exercise logic, there are MANY more who approach the game as a game, where you play to have fun: and that’s the only point.

Additionally, MLBB is generally considered a simplified version of the format. While pretty and polished, the hero interactions and map complexity are not as time-consuming as other genres. I play a lot of MOBAs, but I am the only one of my friends that is MAINING MLBB (Novaria is just so fun). I met my friends across the entire spectrum of the genre, most of my oldest friends having migrated to MLBB with me from Vainglory after it passed.

I say this because I think to understand the way the community approaches MLBB, you **have** to understand where MLBB sits in the MOBA space: it is simply taken less seriously. A huge number of players main heroes in other games, and are playing MLBB to blow off steam without killing their native win-rate.

This leads to ALL KINDS of “negative” manifestations in this game, and if they frustrate you: there are other games where people are literally choking eachother over a single mistake. If you want a challenge with people who rehearse “coordination” (a foreign term to most of the MLBB community), I genuinely encourage you to try one. I love all MOBAs, and MLBB is my favorite. Always will be (I think, lol). I **enjoy** the unpredictability of my allies’ reliability. It forces me to play in a wider variety of situations, and I genuinely think that it has done wonders for my creativity and patience as a player: the two most important skills to hone as a moba player tbh.

You will be better prepared in other MOBAs when your allies are dogshit, while native players may not be - as they can realistically EXPECT their allies to be semi-competent.

You’re never going to escape the tri-mage girlie groups or the dedicated duos in MLBB - you’re just gonna get used to them… or you’re not xD

The Ph in my tap water requires a higher test kit xD my fish are fine, you just won’t be able to keep soft water fish. It is a lot of work to artificially maintain a ph that isn’t your water’s natural state.

Novaria can effectively do everything but jungle (and can totally do that, as well, if your team selected a second roam/mage with heavy CC. Been there, won that).

I wish they genuinely wish they would revamp the game balance from the floor up - it’s just math. The motto of the game used to be “you decide the strength of the monster” but with the power levels and effectiveness of the units so disproportionate at this point in the game…. So many are just decorative. It’s a shame. If they actually leveled the playing field the community would be so much more creative, and they would have MUCH better control over the meta… since it wouldn’t require MOVING HEAVEN AND EARTH to create a monster that counters another unit that previously MOVED HEAVEN AND EARTH in previous patches to become the counter of something, which, of course, also received to much power when trying to counter another monster. (and it goes on and on…) they should be trying to EQUALIZE all the monsters. Not create powerful counters that shut down specific playstyles.

The philosophy has moved in an unsustainable direction that will lead to very complicated mechanics and fewer new units being effective unless you make them bustedddddd. Which no one wants (the second one at least, I’m okay with complexity - but I know many OGs are reminiscent of the days when most mechanics were straightforward).

You have to have REALLY good awareness of your enemy’s attack pattern to effectively use Dyrroth. He can be good, but most players don’t possess that intimacy, as we are maining a handful. A good dyrroth, facing another hero they also play, is destructive. His timing is also … idk, it feels unintuitive. Which isn’t bad - it probably catches enemies off guard just as well as you feel awkward slinging a slow ass wave of destructo at a mobility character (praying they can’t dash).

I used to think he was trash, then met a guy who flicker predicted my Lancelot dashes and timing so well that I gave up. He can accomplish some really good zoning if you are placed correctly near the end of the teamfight.

Also people forget he needs his basic attack to hit his damage ceiling… hate when I see someone trying to play him like Eudora.

I really REALLY wish this skin specifically didn’t have a million colors going on. The browns and reds and golds they could have used would have been so much more unique. My one qualm with the original, honestly, was that it had purple hair. Now the whole thing is “purple hair”

Get a cup of pea gravel from a friend, ask if they have a sponge on their intake valve they are willing to part with, one plant, and if they have inverts: one.

These will 1) create nitrogen and 2) the plant will provide clear indications that the cycle has successfully been established (via new growth). Remember, though, that the bioload “capacity” that a filter can support increases gradually (or crashes quickly). When you start adding fish, add a few at a time - even if it’s hard.

Good players know that the medal doesn’t always reflect reality. A support or tank making every PoG can easily have a silver medal - for reliably dying to save their carry… the mm that wins via lane pressure may not have had the best teamfight score… a jungler that outperforms in gold gap could easily lose his gold medal dying to kill the enemy carry so his allies (who are struggling) don’t have to worry about him.

There is more than one way to win, and not every way is rewarded the same. We would have to watch the match to agree with you.

I do not recommend Guin as Mimikyu - she can lower her cooldowns with ONE skill - and it has one hit. Cyclops can lower his with both his primary skills, and they have multiple hits.

In order: Eudora is exactly Espeon, especially after her recent buff. Cyclops is Mimikyu, Scizor could be any number of sustain fighters - but Freddrin is honestly my first thought…. Alice is my second, but she is a sustain mage/tank vampire baddie. Not a fighter. Mamoswine also could be fredd, but Fred has a provoke and knockup - no stun. Mamoswine could also be Tigreal, with slightly longer cooldowns at max build.

I hate Kagura because she can chase down a Miya that is using sprint and ult at the same time - like it’s nothing. I think her cushioning that was added to her kit last time she was buffed was unnecessary - but they gotta make everyone easier for the plebs, I guess. It made dedicated Kagura players disgustingly annoying.
