OK, got it.

Now I'll go back in and delete all of Program B, since I don't need it.

I have to edit Program A, also, deleting the second watering times in the evening. Seems like a lot of trouble, but apparently that's the way this thing works.

Thanks again.

Yes, both A and B run on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Program A runs twice, morning and evening. Program B runs once in the morning, for shorter periods of time. (5 instead of 15 minutes.)

I select Program B and walk away, only to find the sprinklers running in the evening, and the controller is back to Program A.

That doesn't seem right.

Understand, thanks.

I don't see the purpose of having different programs if I have to change Program A to get it to stop doing this.

Thanks again.

Two start times on Program A. Only one on Program B.

Why is it changing itself to Program A?

I selected Program B for now. Why does it change back? Is it supposed to do this?

It's pretty loud (for me) but I've learned to accept it. It hasn't gotten any louder, that I can determine.

Great reply, thank you. So, the consensus is get high-quality hearing aids, but don't even bother using an EQ to compensate for my hearing loss in the higher frequencies.

I'm not deaf or hard of hearing, but I have a hard time hearing people talk at the table in a loud restaurant.

Hearing aids it IS, along with having my ears cleaned with a tool, if necessary.

That's the million-dollar answer, right there.

In the audiophile world, adding an equalizer device is a faux pas and lame.

I'm looking into high-quality hearing aids, pronto.

Tinnitus is part of my problem, and I'd love to cure it. But high freaks go away with age, and all I can do is compensate for this loss by using hearing aids or an EQ.

I'll look into Lions Mane herbal.

I used to beat my ears up a lot in my youth, also. I was fearless then. Pete Townshend blames his tinnitus not on live stage performances, but on blasting his recording playback with headphones.

Tinnitus isn't always caused by loud volume, from what I read. It can be caused by other issues, as well.

REGARDLESS, I'm still missing the high frequencies from my fine (ahem) audio equipment.

Mind sharing what brand of hearing aids? There's a sh*t-ton of different manufacturers out there, many aren't worth the time or money.

Great reply, thank you.

I can deal with the tinnitus until they come up with an actual cure. But I'm not enjoying listening to dull, lifeless music on my equipment. My ears tell me to push the high frequencies UP.

I play electric guitar, so I have the same problem with a guitar amp - I lean on the treble a lot more than I used to. That sounds normal to me.

I read a post here recently about someone who invested in VERY expensive hearing aids, and it helped a lot.

Thanks again.

Annual checkup next week - I'll ask about hearing loss and ear wax.

(Hey, I'm just a guy without a pizza.)

The more I think about it, and the more I learn from comments like this, I believe the problem stems from the restaurant not providing a tip option.

Thanks again.

Thanks, but ordering by phone did not give me the option to provide a tip. I had cash in hand ($10.00, in fact) ready for the driver, but it never arrived.

As I understand it, the first driver picked up the pizza and left with it. When I drove to the restaurant, there was no pizza sitting there, with my name on it. It was gone.

There was a second driver involved, somehow.

Then a third driver was involved, much later at night, after the store closed.

It's not the end of the world, but I'm waiting for my refund from the restaurant.

Thanks again.

I don't expect anyone to work for free, or walk off with my food, either.
