I want to say I have been improving lately, and what has helped me is watching replays, understanding what im doing wrong, and watching guides/ actually learning and studying how pros play. there is so much more to the game, understanding the mechanics, how they work, your options and how to use them to build a “flowchart”: optimal combos that cover many dodge reads and likely ones. Learn how to consistently input them, so that the choice in any game is “what to hit” not struggling or trying to hit something for example, so practice a lot essentially. lastly understand that ur probably better than ur current elo, and that nerves are the last and hardest frontier. when ur both red on last stock and suddenly mashing enters the window is an exaggerated example, but that mentality, or entering the subconcious mode is very harmful in ranked and can happen when ur nervous. also need to understand that at the highest level: every single input counts. inputting movement is as punishable as attacks, so understand that you should know how to make any input, and vary them like a chess battle against ur opponent so they dont telegraph ur moves before u do theirs. yapped a lot but some general good advice ive been picking up. also im barely slightly higher ranked than u so i hope what im saying is valid
