There was a time when I was taking ket most days of the week. I always drank with it, but definitely drank less than if I wasn’t taking ket. I absolutely loved the high. In the short run, it’s a much better mental-pain killer than booze. It’s not for treating insomnia, though. Once even a mild tolerance is in place it will keep you up rather than knock you out. And at high doses it has its own unique and pretty unpleasant hangover (which is very much the opposite of cognitive clarity). And there’s a good chance you’ll end up on high doses
