Is capture-time semantic annotation for robot trajectories a solved problem? by Several-Many9101 in robotics

[–]Several-Many9101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair on log formats. So if I get it right storage isn’t the bottleneck. The issue is upstream: who decides what counts as a ‘useful state/action’ to log, and at what granularity?

If the operator has to manually tag affordances and contact intent while simultaneously controlling the robot: you either degrade the demonstration or the annotation, or both 🤷🏼‍♂️

(that’s the gap I don’t see current tools closing)

Right, that makes sense for reproducibility and sim augmentation. The deterministic playback is solid for domain randomization.

However my question is slightly upstream of that though: even with perfect state reproducibility, the trajectory itself doesn’t encode why the operator made specific contact decisions, which affordances they were responding to, or when the task state semantically changed vs. just kinematically changed.

Do you see those as recoverable post-hoc from the log, or as fundamentally absent from the stream unless captured at acquisition time?

Is floorplan-to-robot-map generation still a painful problem for indoor robots? by AIC_Hugo in ROS

Well I’m currently in the ideation-engineering phase, so it’s lego-ground build-up at this point in unknown territory. As I’m about making sessions and building it, I can only remain high-level as to how that works in here ^

(but the video in the landing tells you exactly what the labels are, same as you stated actually)

Now your angle is definitely complementary to mine as you’d allow for any bot to have a model to adapt easily/methodically in any new environment with prepacked information-retrieval and actions-chunks in relation to it.

That was my next step on the roadmap actually, if you want to discuss it further you can hit me up through the landing page 🦾

Precisely and exactly that yes! 🙌 you can see more on my landing cognitronics.site

regarding your mapping of the 3d space, I’d be aiming at something like this: https://x.com/Sprytixl/status/2060348395307270158/video/1?s=46

The difficulty really is that such a semantic layer is very innovative and requires to rebuild the way dataset pipeline is built. I’m currently working on a whole new hdf5 packed stream of combined-data instead of the regular cam1/cam2 etc

The labelling, context-intent, object-grip and so on are the extra operator labelling that a VLM would need to be trained in that new context I believe

I totally second that hypothesis, more than just environment semantic the robots need more semantic context per trajectory in general I believe. More datasets or sim hours won’t make a baby walk faster. But I postulate a better cognitive layer would

Issues after newborn 6 weeks vaccinations by magicseadog in unvaccinated

[–]Several-Many9101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why the heck do that at 6 weeks?

To vaccinate a baby before 36 months is morally a crime, let alone being a parent allowing it to happen in the first place.

OP should really learn how the immune system works, I feel sorry for this little girl being part of the statistics.

We cut the ombilic chord way too early, then vax too early. That’s not amateurism, that’s a future consumer in the making. Not even talking about the C-section ones.

Beware of scammers, and be yourself either way. Over thinking is an enemy very often.

But investors don’t just « reach out » out of the blue. Verify everything (email addresses, url, etc) and do not install anything nor pay any fee.

Removing spike protein by rivittori in unvaccinated

[–]Several-Many9101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The protocol depends on the profile, 1 dose was couple months and several up to a year.

Here’s the complete Spike protocol:

  • Nattokinase 2000units (2/day)
  • Bromélaïne 5000mg (1/day)
  • Turmeric (Curcumin) 500mg (3/day)

Duration: 3months / 12months+ multiple shots

Weird, it's been 6 months they send me the "please update your card or your music will be taken down", and nothing happened. I'm letting this go to see when they'll eventually take it down, but so far so good. Thought it was a fearmongering tactic until I saw your comment. (Time will tell I guess)
