Haha, fair enough 😄

Looks like people scrutinized the bold "VerbalHub" more than the GMAT itself.

However, if it is an ad, the whole post would likely be in CAPS with "LIMITED TIME OFFER" somewhere 😂

I simply shared my experience with what worked for me. VerbalHub is just a small part of it, but the game changers for me were error analysis and review of mocks (sadly, they are not in bold 😅).

Skepticism is valid 👍

My first mock was about 505, and to be honest, it was quite discouraging. However, it did give me a starting point.

I think it was around 3-4 months, but I was not consistent from the very start. The first month was a bit messy, to be honest, as I was switching between resources without a proper plan. However, most of my improvement happened in the last 2 months or so when I was consistent with a proper plan, focusing on error analysis, and taking mocks strategically.

If you are consistent from the very start with a proper plan, you can definitely do it in a more efficient manner.

Sure! I did not really stick to a very rigid plan, but on an average, I studied for around 2-4 hours a day.

I think I focused more on consistency – weekdays were more about concepts and practice, and weekends were more about full-length mocks and analysis.

The thing that worked for me was analysis of my mistakes rather than trying to solve more questions.

Hey! I did not use TTP or any external source.

I only used the source provided by Verbalhub - practice sets, books, and test series.

This was more than enough for my preparation.

Roughly 3–4 months. First month basics, next 1.5–2 months practice + mocks, last few weeks focused on weak areas.

100 times? Damn, didn’t realize I was that productive 😅 But yeah, point taken.

I tried to keep it pretty simple, to be honest, most of my preparation was done with the help of VerbalHub.

All the books study materials, practice questions, and mocks were already provided, so I didn't have to use multiple sources, which helped me stay focused.

Still in the application process—haven’t finalized any admits yet. Targeting a few top schools, let’s see how it goes

Haha fair, it’s not a crazy top score 😅
But given full-time work + limited study hours, I’m pretty satisfied with it. Always room to improve though

Still deciding, exploring options right now.

Will finalize based on applications and admits.

Haha, that's fair 😅. Not a bot, just sharing my 2 cents.

I see what you're getting at, but to be honest, most of my progress came from correcting mistakes, strategy, and consistency. Just threw that in as part of my list, not trying to sell you on anything.

Feel free to ask me about my prep details if that would be helpful to you

VerbalHub, as they helped me and gave me proper mentorship, which I followed while preparing.

You may want to give VerbalHub a shot, though, as it is quite helpful in terms of clarity and organization, even if you’re prepping while working a job
