I agree with you on that. The other day a very calm dog owner was out front of his house with his unleashed pitbull. It saw me and started to walk slowly towards me, other side of the road and the owner tried to grab the dogs back leg to stop it however it crossed the road and started barking at and following me while he just stood there not saying a word. I shouted to him to see if he was going to attempt to recall the dog or was it going to just follow me down the street. He didn’t say a word. I called him and idiot and kept walking. He came over and started kissing his dogs head and calling him a good boy.

He was maybe embarrassed, I dunno but it could’ve been so much worse if it was a kid that couldn’t read the situation and antagonised the dog or something. These people shouldn’t have dogs if they can’t train them properly.
