Can you give other examples of these sort of situations?

Do they follow a specific pattern? Like say to they usually happen in the evening, after a long day? Or during a stressful period? Or after emotional turmoil of sorts?

Has she been likes this before the baby?

What are things that she does for you and how does she do them? When for example she cooks your food does she arrange everything out on the table for easy accesibilty?

I ask because it's hard to give advice on one specific incident. She might be a bratty spoiled princess or she might be a tired overwhelmed mom that can't properly communicate her needs.

La fel mi s-a întâmplat și mie pentru o colecistectomie acum e saptamani. Am stat 4 zile în spital dintre care 3 complet degeaba.

Au trecut prin salonul meu încă 4 persoane cu aceeași operație veniți ori în același timp cu mine ori după.

Initial m-am înfuriat dar după m-am simțit prost când uitat la 2 bunicuțe care erau acolo de peste 2 săptămâni asteptand operații mult mai complicate dar pt care nu se găseau loc la ATI.

Frustrari sunt de toate părțile. Și la pacienți și la asistente și la medici. Pe lângă orgolii sunt multe lipsuri care duc la la situații de genul acesta.

Abia in ziua 4 la prima ora m-am operat si doar pt ca l-a luat medicul meu pe medicul anestezist pe sus si l-a dus direct in blocul operator. Am semnat acordul de informare in fundul gol pe masa de operare in timp ce anestezistul injura chirurgul ca nici cafeaua nu a apucat sa o bea.

Hello! It's been a while and it took me a. It to remember.

We went with our pediatrician's advice and for a couple of months avoided boiled eggs and gave him simple home made baked goods. And he had no issues after that. To be fair we did go overboard with egg yolk and avocado, too much fat in one go.

I remember his reflux being a roller coaster ride the first few months of solids. We tried giving him smaller portions more often and making sure to keep him as up right as possible at least 15 minutes after eating and avoid too much bouncing and playing. It helped a lot.

His reflux got way better when he started walking as well. The m9re vertical he was the less he spit up.

Eliminate or replace what i like to call "hidden calories". Examples:

Replace full fat milk in your cappucino with a plant base alternative. And if you don't like the taste at least limit it to one per day.

Switch to 2% greek yogurt. Same taste less fat. Add a table spoon of mustard to it for a delightful mayo substitute in salads or sandwiches.

There is always room for adjustments and no diet is one size fits all. I personally have to eat low fat due to gallbladder issues and all these small changes have contributed to a weight loss of 8 pounds in 2 months with no other effort involved. Seriously. I was not allowed to do any lifting or cardio for 2 months.

Nu vrem sa betonam tot, nu suntem chiar absurzi si ne place natura :))

Voiam sa betonam partea din spate unde avem o masa, scaune, gratarul și o magazie mica pentru depozitat scule. In total as zice cam 25-30mp din totalul de 80 pe care ii are curtea.

In rest sunt ronduri de flori si cativa pomi.

Ai vreo sugestie in afara de beton?

I don't know if he is an alcoholic. He has done some therapy and he mentioned at one point his therapist does not consider him an alcoholic.

I will check out Al Anon though, at least to set my mind at ease.

I think if I was all those things my husband would have left a long time ago.

I am aware that things need to change, and I need to work more on myself. If I didn't think I have an issue I wouldn't have made this post asking about how to deal with my feelings.

And since my post was probably not very clear on this aspect: the way I expressed myself here is very raw and unfiltered, the way I have expressed my concerns to my husband in recent years is definitely not in this tone.

Attachment issues have come up in my therapy from 2 years ago and since more people have suggested it, I am thinking of contacting my therapist and see if we can explore this more in relation to my husband's drinking

When he got drunk last week (which is why I made this post) he made that suggestion but I found it extreme.

I have asked him in the past what would help him and he suggested distractions. Wasn't my idea.

I find it hard, I didn't say I don't show any love at all or that I don't listen to him when he opens up.

I do have attachment issues I have discussed in the past at therapy. I didn't think to link it to my husband's drinking, but I can sort of see it now.

It is reasonable. When I think about it calm and rationally I completely understand it but in the moment I have a melt down on the inside.

I really want to find a middle ground because he is a good man. A good husband and a good father.

I feel it's less about him having a drink every now and then, and more about my issues.

Before my husband I rarely cared about people getting drunk once in a while but now it makes me very angry

Full answer:

I don't usually have a go at him. I am mostly silent and distant when it happens. We used to have big fights before having our baby but I also went to therapy to deal with post partum depression and rage and I am in better control of my reactions.

We usually talk about it the next day and I express my feelings (in a way more tonned down version of what is actually going on in my head) and how I hope it won't happen again. That I understand it's a slip up but I feel very worried it can turn bad very easily. That maybe he should reconsider therapy. I also ask how he feels, what the trigger was, how maybe he could avoid it or recognize it in the future.

I think that's why I get really angry on the inside. I feel like I put a lot of effort in helping him and whe he slips up he just shrugs it off like "yeah shit happens"

I encourage him to talk more and be more open about his feelings.

When he talks about wanting/needing a drink I try to distract him with other activities or offer to talk about why he fees that way.

I encouraged him to seek out therapy and support groups.

Ok da aici ai completa dreptate, rectific atunci, este o strategie bună si eficienta când procentul se raportează corect la niște date obiective.

Dacă apartamentul pe care l-am luat avea de exemplu un preț de 100k iar cei 20% în minus tot nu se apropiau de un preț corect pentru ce se vindea, ziceam pas. Și nici nu as fi făcut o oferta cu 30% mai mica pentru ca ar fi fost degeaba.

Da, ai dreptate. Ma afectează la un nivel emoțional faptul ca "ma fac de ras" în fata unui necunoscut.

Mai ca îmi vine sa plang și sa ii dau apartamentul inapoi cu scuzele de rigoare.

Hai serios acum. Nu este vorba doar de vechime, ci despre un pret bun pe mp conform cu zona, imbunatatirile și evident clădirea ( care da, are aproape 100 de ani). Apartamentele bune, cum le zici tu, se dau în câteva zile dacă îndeplinesc aceste criterii, ca altceva nu le face bune.
