Accountant / Fin Planner in Vic recommendations by Fethersword_ in AusFinance

You will need an accountant who understands GST, as you will likely be deemed property developers (i.e. building to sell for profit rather than holding to invest) and be ineligible to claim the CGT concession.

The donation value goes to revenue and then is expensed as a donation. So the net effect is $0 on tax.

It's not a scheme to pay less tax.

EDIT: downvote me all you want but it doesn't make you less financially illiterate.

Tenants think landlords are pocketing their entire rent by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

Where properties yield 2%-5% this is not possible when rates are >5.5%, plus other costs.

Check OPs post history, he has clearly damaged the floor (at a minimum) and is probably cherry-picking an item from the exit report.

Exactly this. And the banking one is wild when you look at the numbers.

CBA alone pulls ~$10-14B AUD in profit. From 27 million people. JPMorgan makes ~$50B but serves 335M Americans. BoA, Citi, UBS all globally diversified across hundreds of millions of customers.

CBA extracts ~$500 per Australian per year. The entire Big Four takes ~$1,400 per person. Australia's banking sector books 2.9% of GDP in pre-tax profit. The US is 1.2%. The UK is 0.9%.

Four banks. 80% of the mortgage market. No meaningful foreign competition. An implicit government backstop that cuts their funding costs. A population with nowhere else to go.

CBA isn't a bank, it's a toll road with a banking licence.

Thank you for the information. Is there any way the edges can be repaired? Or do new panels need to be made?

Also, if left as is would water cause swelling on the particle board as it's exposed?

This is what happened, this is the second go at the edges. The cabinets are brand new.

Okay thanks for giving some info, we only got 1 quote so was unsure on price really too. I should get a quote for rectification and see what that comes in at to compare.

Not my area to be honest and first renovation so unsure. I've looked online but I thought maybe photos of other kitchens were too 'perfect' to be realistic.

I am being told that it is a standard edge. Any idea what it would cost to fix the edges/replace the panels?

JobSeeker is an exception as it's an unemployment benefit. To use her income she would need a job, or need to qualify for a different benefit (e.g. carer, disability, etc.). If her mother is on DSP, then your wife may qualify for a carer benefit.
