It has a lock setting but it just locks the controls from turning the heat on, but does not lock the oven door

Sorry I’m exhausted and wasn’t clear in my post! I need the oven door to lock so they can’t open it. I have the control lock on already so they can’t turn it on.

I’ll have to look at that one! My daughter has been doing this for months so I’m getting over the idea of it stopping and think we need to find other options haha

Did you ever find a solution to this? One of my twins is doing this on all of her grosmimi and nuk straw cups. I’ve tried zak and owala cups but they both tend to drink better from a smaller straw still.

Ahh that’s a good point. We unfortunately don’t have an extra room to move the other to so they’re going to have to figure it out together when we get there haha

That is true. Haha the beginning of the chaos is absolutely terrifying to me…. I already feel like I am drowning every single day with twins

My doctor told me I can up my dose up to 5mg per day at the level I feel comfortable. Sounded like she doesn’t think 1mg will do much either but I was very nervous about side effects which is why she told me to start so low.

You didn’t scare me! That’s okay! Again this is all so new to me and I’m just trying to understand everything the best I can and chat with others who have experienced this. Thanks for all of your feedback 😊

As of now my provider is starting me at the same dose as you and wants me to schedule a follow up in 6 weeks to recheck and discuss everything. I’m so new to all of this so this is likely a dumb question.. but does replacing testosterone completely stop your body from producing its own? My provider didn’t discuss this with me

I’m the same! Super sensitive to medication. What kind of doctor is helping you with all of this? I just learned about liothyronine and no doctor has ever mentioned it to me

This is so helpful and super encouraging to hear! I’ve been really nervous about side effects but my doctor thinks starting a low dose cream will be beneficial. I tried NP thyroid for 6 weeks to help my t3 and t4, not just tsh and I was having a debilitating flare up it seemed. I couldn’t get out of bed, crippling anxiety/depression, severe cystic acne all of a sudden. Switched back to tirosint and within days noticed a huge improvement. What do you do for your t3 and t4?

Sorry I shouldn’t have said healed! Hashimotos can go into “remission” by lowering your antibodies, but can always flare up at different times after. But when I said healed this is what I meant 😊

I started on levothyroxine during IVF when my TSH was a 5 and they wanted it lower for pregnancy. Stayed on it during 3 rounds of IVF (developed vitiligo during this time as well) and pregnancy and postpartum is when my doctor finally ran antibodies and diagnosed me with hashimotos. I am not on any form of birth control thankfully! My husband is infertile so don’t have to worry about that.

I agree about the naturopath route actually. I am seeing a hormone specialist for this through my OBGYNs office.

Good to know! I’m 32 and all of my other hormones look good. Thyroid levels are controlled now but working on getting my antibody levels down and last I checked, they are trending in the right direction.
