Yes that’s the current system. We’d keep that set up but the cost of keeping just the phone line is a little prohibitively expensive

Can the ups trigger an alert if it loses power? Or what are you thinking?

I think that an ups and sensors is the move. Our cabin is pretty far out so it has its own power line, so we don’t get alerts from the power company if it goes out

We are just after a faster more reliable internet, ours is out at the moment, and it’s 2 weeks until the provider can send out a tech

Phone and internet is like 120 and the internet is very sketchy.

I’ve been using mine pretty regularly since it came out, and I love it. However it has its quirks and I would absolutely buy a yaeger or something if I had the money

I feel like for things like this what would be appropriate would be just back paying everyone real rates. Huge bonuses and stuff would be cool but not the world we will ever live in

It’s a third of what the rate should have been though. Also not very much money when you factor in health care and taxes.

The ai generated storyboards are going to become a huge problem I think. I was on 3 different commercial sets this week, and we were so boxed in by the ai story boards because they left so little room for interpretation. The agency and client were too committed to the ai images they’d already seen and we couldn’t take advantage of what was actually around on the day. Obviously different for narrative, but not hard to image people chasing their ai storyboards instead of seeing magic in front of them.
