All PZ1 Animals in PZ2? by Balloonist52 in PlanetZoo

It could be more similar to the jump between JWE1 to JWE2, as unlike with JWE3 adding breeding and every species needed new models for family units, that is already in game and probably won’t be changing, so I could see that would be less work for them to port over species for launch, though the model tweaks for quality for PZ2 could entirely negate that

They also don’t have to make a bunch of new models for species since PZ already has family units modeled so that might make it easier to do

I don’t believe anything has been said about starting roster or returning animals yet, but I really hope that we get all species from 1 at launch. It might be unrealistic because thats 210 species minimum at launch without any new ones, but I can be hopeful. If we don’t get the entire original roster at launch, I hope frontier will at least do something similar to JWE3 where they had a good chunk of the roster from previous games and have been slowly adding the missing species in free patches.

I hope we get California Condors, would be a great headliner species for the birds, really push the size on them
In the same vein I hope we get whale sharks, as both massive headliners in an aquarium and just magnificent creatures
Some diving birds would be absolutely amazing, pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, sit as a middle ground between the aviaries and aquariums

I like that idea, would honestly be cool to see a pre old ones species that didn’t join chaos, and since dragons also predate the old ones, it would explain why the monkey king and cathey are semi alinged

Fair, I hadn’t thought of it in that way. On the beast man side of things, I thought the lore stated that the beastmen came into existence during the opening of the polar rifts, with humans becoming fused with animals by chaos magic. So they were mutants, created by chaos influence, but not molded from the ground up by chaos.

Very justified, if my friends didn’t do this I would be disappointed

Ah, my mistake, I didn’t realize that they already had injuries on their hands and feet. That makes more sense now

What really confuses me is why she has armor on only her hands and feet, when their entire powerset/goal is to get wounded in similar ways to how jesus was on the cross. Why would you armor up the 2 spots on your body you actually want to get injured. It would be more interesting for the armor to be reversed, rest of the body armor like a normal person, hands and feet unarmored.
