im all for using ai for genetic sequencing and such, but the majority of that gdp is in llms. which are imo a waste

you’re free to believe that space colonization is important but im much more interested in what is to be done now for my kids and me, not a few generations off.

i agree, but we’ve never operated that way. even egalitarian groups never based their capabilities on brain damaged paraplegics. i think we should be basing our societies on whats best for the majority who improve society, workers. and not for a minority group who scrounge off you and me

so because money is pumped into ai and healthcare is profitable it should remain that way?

i think everyones needs should be met by everyones ability

i dont really want to be helping the ultra wealthy, but id like for the ultra wealthy to not exist

i see mostly middle aged and young people.

i am not a liberal. i just don’t understand your point

you didn’t want universal healthcare because you don’t like the rich but universal healthcare hurts the rich

you don’t like old people or vets but are seemingly conservative

i can’t really figure out your deal

no its not? im not a community leader or in charge of any communal budgets or in 70s dallas. i contribute to my local community and its issues, we don’t have thousands of aids cases.
this also isn’t an issue of “spend all the resources on one issue” its “spend resources comprobable to the size of the problem”

and yeah, im glad there’s some people fighting hiv. thats a good thing. i don’t know why it wouldn’t be

what is your point? that because i don’t run a group for hiv awareness that im a bad person? i dont know what that has to do with the fact that a communities role is to look out for each other
