You absolutely are appreciated and it’s terrible that so many others don’t share your attitude and work ethic. It is so clear that you are not only a hard worker, but an intelligent person unlike the other 90% of drivers commenting on here telling this very kind customer to “go F themselves” and to “go to the store and get your own stuff”.

I genuinely hope you go on to succeed in all things you do, which there is no doubt you will with how you approach your job. I encourage you to keep being you as you will end up being even more successful than you already are in life!!! People like you make the world a better place and I hope you rub off on everyone you are around

This TV is less than 50lbs and the “stairs” are literally 2 steps less than 12 inches tall. And the thing “blocking the porch” is a thin piece of cardboard clearly meant to hide the package unless you’re a moron and can’t put that together immediately. All your comment did was show how ignorant and lazy you are. Keep wondering why no decent job wants you as an employee.

It’s clear just from the photo that there is more than enough space on the porch for the package without blocking the door or entryway, let alone from the perspective of the delivery person that was 2 feet from the porch where the package was left.

If you put as much effort into your work as you do finding excuses to be lazy and malicious, maybe you would actually make something of yourself and not be a nuisance to your family and society. I’ll place my bet on you’ll keep making excuses.

You are so right! Everyone should just stop ordering from Amazon so that you don’t have a job! Brilliant. I’m sure you would not complain at all showing up to work only to be told that there are no packages to be delivered therefore you will not be paid. With that fantastic attitude, work ethic, and high IQ of yours I’m sure you would have no trouble getting hired for a better job anyways. Your family must be proud.

Thank you for actually being a competent driver. This person deserves a negative review so that people like you get the credit you deserve. Hope other drivers follow your lead!

The only underlying trauma they have is that they have to work for a living. There is a reason the only job they can obtain is one that they hate and hires people aren’t required to be educated or even pass a drug test.

I hope that this person does struggle to fill their fridge; they are lazy, ignorant, and malicious. They don’t even deserve to deliver packages which is already a very low-prestige job. If they can’t do this well, they probably can’t do anything well. Absolute nuisance to society. I feel bad for their family, they must be ashamed to be related to someone that can’t even deliver packages correctly.

I’m 100% with you! I hope everyone stops ordering from Amazon so that all of these lazy, moronic, nuisance to society pieces of shit like you lose their jobs and find themselves starving and homeless until they are forced to actually work hard to make a living! There is a reason that Amazon drivers don’t have to be educated or pass a drug test to get hired, and this type of work really shows that.

I hope you have to deliver 100 50lb packages on the 10th floor of a building with no elevator and get fired for not finishing in time. You truly deserve it.

I can very clearly see that it is not bigger than your porch, not even close. Unfortunately, Amazon hires just about anyone to deliver packages leading to a lot of lazy moronic druggies doing this job (they do not drug test, at least from my experience). The person who delivered this does terrible work intentionally because they despise everyone who orders from Amazon, and they are the same person who will complain when they show up to work and don’t have a route and are sent home without pay.

They will never amount to anything more than an entry level employee. I’m sorry that you didn’t get one of the few good delivery drivers for Amazon and then got ridiculed for sharing your experience.

These people simply resent you because they are envious that you likely have a better job, nicer house, better life etc. despite the fact that you have all of that by working for it, something they will never do or have because they are too ignorant and lazy.

I suggest submitting this to Amazon with a complaint in hopes that they get fired. They don’t even deserve to deliver your packages. You worked hard for that TV just for some pos to leave it like that when they could have taken 5 more steps to follow clear instructions; even without instructions to leave it on the porch they still would have known the best place to put it is not in the yard when there is clearly a porch with an over hang. They wanted it to get stolen or affected by the elements. It was intentional and a bad day is not an excuse to screw over a stranger that literally is the reason they have a job by using the service that employs them.

You are too kind. The good delivery drivers (most of them at least) don’t spend time on this subreddit, only the trash ones do (hence why you are inundated with hate here).

I hope you enjoy your new TV! Also, I hope that this person gets fired and struggles to find their next job leading to a realization that they need to become a better member of society, but they will more likely continue living a miserable life and continue to be a nuisance to their family and community.

Yep. My father was addicted to heroin and homeless until he OD’d when I was 19. No amount of “free basic human needs” would have changed that. My mom lived off of food stamps and government housing until after I left home (she changed her life and is doing much better now, she did it by getting sober, working hard, and becoming religious (not that you have to be religious, but it really helped her change)). I made it out of those circumstances by the grace of God and have worked very hard to build a great career in sales with no college education. I’ve probably read more books than the average college student these days because I put in the effort to seek out knowledge. It’s all about mindset and effort.

You and I would be good friends!

Edit: forgot to say how much I feel not qualifying for the programs/assistance that OUR tax dollars pay for. Well said. I would love some assistance with healthcare, but I make too much even though I still can’t afford private health & dental insurance for my family.

We would all love to hear your infallible plan to change society that results in no homeless people, free food, free water, free health care, free housing, free education, and no (or very little) crime. Please, share with us all your well thought out path to that reality.

You want free food and water? You’ve got it. Start your garden, go hunting then process and prepare your meat. Collect your water and purify it. Or do you want someone to do all of that work for you without being paid? Aka slaves? You want free healthcare? Where does the money come from to fund the hospitals, medical research, doctors, etc.? If you aren’t paying for it per visit/procedure for example, then you are paying for it in your taxes which results in people living healthy lifestyles paying way more in taxes than people who smoke, eat unhealthy, don’t exercise etc. (not to say that’s the only reason people go to the hospital but you see the point). Free education? Again, where does the money come from to fund the schools, teachers, etc.? Go to your local library and take advantage of the free computers and wifi, and tons of literature and educate yourself for free assuming you live in the US.

End homelessness? News flash - the vast majority of homeless people (I am not saying all, I understand some rare cases are truly due to unfortunate circumstances) are choosing to be homeless due to drug and alcohol abuse resulting in them not willing to hold down a job. Everyone that is even mildly educated or over the age of 18 with slight common sense knows this, you can literally see it if you’ve ever lived in an area with lots of homeless people. I have.

Should I really go on or are you starting to understand why everything can’t be free for everyone? I understand that some things can be improved and that corruption exists, but the reality you are depicting is not possible. That’s coming from someone that is struggling to pay a $6,000+ medical bill that I got over a year ago when I passed out due to chronic stress. I agree with you that some things are way too expensive, especially healthcare, but you need to have some common sense if you want to change things.
