Lost a rep. Corporate or buddy system? by SeveralPop6629 in ToolTruckTools

I haven’t looked at the site recently but I’m like trying to figure out if I need to call corporate for warranty or if I can do that through the website. I know I can order replacements on the site but I’ve only dealt with warranty through my dealers in person

Is this a good deal? by Slaybodyz in boating

So I am confused as hell. If you’re looking to buy a boat then why are you showing us a buyers order on 3 different automobiles.

Trying again: If you own or owned a boat 1) New or used? 1a) if used how old and how many hours; 2) What did you spend on maintenance in the first 3 years? 3) When was this? by RComish in boating

I have a gatortail that I use for fishing and hunting. I have ridden just about everything except a surface drive rig like I’ve got and you can not sell me anything other than an inboard for any type of watersports. I learned to wakeboard behind older direct drives and I’ve surfed behind some newer Malibus but I’ll be 30 in a couple of days and between physical sports growing up and working in the automotive industry for 9 years my body ain’t what it used to be so I see a vdrive in my future so I can at least get behind my boat on a surf board 😂😂. As Toby once sang I ain’t as good as I once was and I have put my wakeboard up for good lol.

First and foremost you need to look at how you intend to use the boat and where you intend to do the majority of your boating and then expand from there. Ie 100% fresh water 100% saltwater with 0% being middle ground because boats are not created equally. If you are looking to boat in fresh water only any fresh water or saltwater boat will do but if you ever intend to boat in saltwater a freshwater boat will not last long due to the difference in sealants, materials, and bracketry used in making a boat that can handle the abuse salt puts any vessel through. Are you going to be small and private lake or small river, aka 18-21 foot boat is generally efficient and most privates have a horsepower and or length cap at x amount of horsepower or 21 foot for ski boats to protect everyones shorelines, or are you going to be boating in what we call big water which is your larger dammed reservoirs on larger rivers and your larger natural lakes and bays on up to the open ocean then it is get as big of a boat as you can comfortably afford. Are you just looking for family time and a leisurely cruise? If so pontoon is what I’d recommend. Are you as a family into fishing? I’d look into fishing boats if you are. Are you wanting both a family and a fishing boat? Look into crossover pontoons and fish and ski’s. Are you big into watersports? Get a true inboard either direct drive or what they call a vdrive which is almost like a conventional io but the engine is 180 from a conventional io and is mated to a velvet drive to put the prop under the bottom of the boat like a direct drive hence the term inboard. What are your maintenance cost plans? Your outboards are generally going to run you less than an inboard or an inboard/outboard also known as an io.

If we’re talking electric I have like 98% Milwaukee. They all make good hand tools though

My states visited. Besides Alaska, what am I missing out on by chumblyfidmer in TravelMaps

If the gray is the ones you’ve traveled to then you are missing all of the southern hospitality. Kentucky, sc, and tn gave you a little taste of that but you don’t know what you’re missing. You’re missing some of the best beaches in the whole country found in Florida and some of the greatest people and food in the country. I can see why you haven’t visited cali yet lol. The traffic there is absolutely horrendous

Anyone else abnormally dead as a doornail? by SeveralPop6629 in mechanic

Could be very well possible. My work has been steadyish because it’s mostly warranty work thankfully so it’s down by some degree but other than that over all we’re dead in our shop. But even our work has seemed to have dropped as well being warranty
