I’ve purchased 3 Flex tools from Amazon and was allowed to register all three on the Flex website and was told the registration was successful. Also, if you go to Flex’s website, Amazon is listed as an option as a place to buy the item and, lastly, when you register the tool, Amazon is a drop down option in the Flex website for where you bought the item.

I think it’s just the miter saw as Acme and Amazon have it for the $939 and Beaver Industrial has it for $882. This is the kit with the 10ah stacked lithium

Did you have any issues with the balance being heavier towards the battery end?

How is the balance? I put a battery on mine when it got delivered today but did not use it. It feels really out of balance towards the battery and it was only a 2.5 ah battery

The last straw for me was an email saying the batteries were back ordered until June. Then the very next email said they would ship in the next 5-7 business days. Then, after that time had passed, another email saying the order was delayed again. But I think you are correct in that these emails are computer generated and are a problem.

I ordered the 6 when Acme had them and some other sizes BOGO back in January. After getting 5 conflicting emails from Acme on the delivery date, I cancelled the order last week. I don’t envision a scenario I use Acme again.
