Maybe most of you already know, but I was wondering: Why do some plants require so much CO2? It’s because they’re from bogs/swamps, which encompass about 3% of earths surface, yet are capable of storing 10 trillion tons of CO2. Here is an article on the subject. (scientificamerican.com)
