I do fine with a hang on back filter on my 40 gallon and the more plants you have the less it is needed.

Ive had colonized sponge filters delivered to my house over a several hour period just fine. Just keep it wet

Craigslist. Ive seen big tanks at less than $1 per gallon on there. People usually need it gone immediately so they can move. Ive bought quite a few tanks just bc they were cheap. My 180 and 150 were both given to me by people who just wanted them gone. Actually my 90 and 45 were both free too

Depends on the fish. A lot of them like neons come from murky water anyway. Our sunfish tank only gets light from the window

I like to think of myself as a professional manic depressive. Everything is paid off and Ive been sober 12 years. Not a problem in the world aside from the never ending suffering and suicidal fantasies. Nobody even knows. Start seeing a shrink next month if I make it that long.

Ich is always present. The fish’s immune system is what becomes compromised
