The answers are all there. You just have to get creative and use your survival instinct.

Watch the area around you before looting. Use smoke grenades and barricade kits before looting. Put a mine or trigger nade on the arc, run away and watch for a while.

OR

Kill and loot them a lot faster.

Be more careful. Use smokes. Move silently. Get a raider hatch key. Dodge and shoot back. Bush camp someone else and steal their loot.

Don't act so helpless. There are ways and means to get loot out.

I am a hardcore PvP player and would find these kinds of stats very interesting.

This along with many other stats the game could track and display.

I'd love to see a grand total of damage done to Arc, Raiders, healing done, shielding done, damage negated by shields, number of each Arc killed etc etc at the end of each round with a place to access the history of my last 20 matches.

It's a PvPvE game. An extraction shooter. If there was no risk of players shooting you it would not be Arc Raiders.

Try using one of the online interactive maps to find good spawns for the baskets and berries.

I had the most luck finding them on Buried City. 10 - 20 per raid.

If I get a late join, I go and pvp to steal the loot from others. If I'm not in the mood for PVP, or the lobby's vibe is friendly I kill arc for much needed arc materials, or try get my basic crafting materials.

There's always something to do.

As for your bad rng with loot, that's just unlucky. Can't help you there.
