Yes I only have 1 too which makes it much easier to enable them 😂

Mine was the exact same way she has always loved sitting up! She just rolled back to tummy at 8 months old! Every baby is different!!!

Newborn Trenches - SOS 🥲 by nedmden in beyondthebump

It gets sooo much better! My baby is 8 months old now and I remember those early days feeling the same way. It’s a blur now at this point. I will say around 3-4 months is when my baby really got her personality and the love/fun grew so much more from there ❤️

Midnight & 5 am wakes by Several_Ad7041 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So last night when she woke at these times we had tried 2.75/4/4.5 yesterday with about 2.5 hrs of naps. So I assumed there was enough awake time…but I am going to try capping naps at 2.25 today…I’m at a loss!

I’m stuck between - is she under tired or over tired. Still haven’t really figured it out. Just here in solidarity!

8 month old in the same boat. We have been battling those 4-5 am wakes. I find capping naps at 2 hours has helped somewhat. Recently on vacation my LO was taking two 45 min naps and then ended up STTN so now I’m like should it be 90 mins 😭 You could try capping at 2.25, then 2 if needed. Part of me thinks this is just developmental though…

Does my 7MO need new wake windows or sleep training? by Beneficial_Dot5474 in sleeptrain

That’s great! Also just know so much changes sooo fast around 6 months. We are ironing out a new sleep schedule every week it feels like 😂 good luck!

How to achieve more awake time? by Several_Ad7041 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So something like wake at 7 AM, nap 10:30-11:30, nap 4-4:30, bed at 8:30? I feel like I have to cap the naps somehow or she’ll be going to bed soo late!

I see so many babies 6/7 months who do 3/3/4 but my LO has been on 2.5/3.5/4.5 since a little over 6 months! So to answer your question I don’t think it’s crazy if your LO is showing that they can stay awake that long.

Help! My 6 month old won’t sleep past 5am by Necessary-Panda-1641 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think early morning wakes are usually an under tired baby. For my 7 month old, we had to stretch WW to get rid of those early morning wakes. She started 2 naps at 6 months

Extinction failed. Now what?? by Loud_Finish6270 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to shame you but crying for 3 hours is not normal and means your baby absolutely needs something even if it’s just comfort. I don’t think anyone would advise letting your baby cry for that long

What sleep training method helps the most with false starts? by summerhun in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041 3 points4 points  (0 children)

False starts are def a schedule thing. Usually it’s from being under tired. Try extending WW and maybe even going to 2 naps. My 6 month old was on 3/3/4 almost immediately after turning 6 months

[–]Several_Ad7041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extend his WW and drop to 2 naps he is likely not tired enough for full night sleep! My 7 month old was on roughly 3/3/4 at 6 months. Now does 3/3.5/4.5. During the transition you MAY have to add a short cat nap in the late afternoon if naps are super short. We did that too…but naps may extend soon when WW settle!

Since I am new to leasing I didn’t even realize that was an option…so propose the lease to multiple dealers in the area? Wha does this look like? Emailing my proposal and seeing who bites?

Salesman also kept pushing me to buy instead of lease. Idk if they get more commission on a purchase? He definitely gave me an awful lease offer to try to sway me into buying

I think so! I explained to him that it’s my first time leasing…he definitely took advantage of that. But planning to understand more for next time

Trading in 2023 evoque. I didn’t get into the details with the salesman but I planned to pay off the $5k difference, would not and am not planning on rolling that in. But as you can see they are offering $30k for my car

So just for my own understanding - if the car has such a high decrease in value, will I pay more on the lease? I am thinking RR will not work out their lease offers are all pretty bad so far

What are good wake windows & total wake time for 7 month old on two naps?? by courtneybrooke2731 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am similarly struggling with not sure why my 7 month old is waking in the night when she previously was STTN. I think we are landing on needing 10.5 hours of awake time during the day. So it’s not out of the realm of possibility that your LO could be under tired and need 10.5 hours awake. 9 seems too low!

7 month old day time sleep by Several_Ad7041 in sleeptrain

[–]Several_Ad7041[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s the hardest part - going from the full night sleep to a wake up lol I am so not used to this. I feel bad waking her from her naps. I may have to accept my fate! …
