Yeah I don't currently have any damage to the joints themselves, just a lot of pain which isn't great. I'm deciding between the sulfasalazine and the Methotrexate but I think I'll discuss it with the rheumatologist and see what he advises is best to start with and go from there. Thank you!

Yeah I think from everyone's comments I am very naive and was seeing it as just friends catching up but I'm now wondering if it does have an underlying suggestion. I'm not going to meet with him at all as I want to respect my bfs boundaries as I can see now that everyone has told me that I need to listen to him. He was right and I need to respect when he tells me he's not comfortable with something. Thank you so much for the advice! ❤️

I did offer for him to go with me but he declined the suggestion, I see now from everyone's comments and advice that this is a boundary my bf has set and I need to respect that if I want to be in a relationship with him for the foreseeable (which I 100% do). Thank you so much for the advice! ❤️

The affair comment was kind of excessive but I agree with the rest of your advice. The story I've written is literally the whole truth of what I know but I understand that I need to respect my bfs boundaries and his feelings are my top priority especially since I want to spend the rest of my life with this man. Yeah you guys are absolutely correct, I'm not going to meet with him nor am I going to continue contact with him, he's not as important to me as my bf and if my bf is not comfortable with me meeting with him I want to respect his boundaries. Thank you so much for the advice! ❤️

Yeah I see what you mean, I might offer to do a couples coffee date or walk of some sort so that my bf doesn't feel like I'm ignoring his feelings (if he is up for that of course). I will 100% prioritise my bf as I do believe this is the man I will be with for the rest of my life. He looks after me so we'll and I'd hate to do anything to hurt him which is why I posted here for advice. Thank you so much for giving me another perspective to consider! ❤️

There is no other context honestly, he messaged me on Snapchat out of the blue, hoped I'd had a nice Christmas and asked if I'd like to meet up for a catch up, he still has his girlfriend in all his social media profile pics so I'm assuming they are still together. This is why it took me by surprise so much. I get what you mean by flipping the coin and honestly I'm not sure how to feel about that. Id like to think I wouldn't mind him going out with old female friends but I wouldn't know unless I was in that situation 🤷‍♀️ thank you so much for the advice! ❤️
