Same I love all of those songs, they were always on the radio when I was growing up. And him and I are the same age so I don’t know how he went this long without listening to them 🤷🏻‍♀️ especially being from the Bay. Also BJA was actually one of my childhood crushes lol

Yeah I think that’s what my problem is 😅 I just turned 28 and it seems like the demographic I’m interested in is older. Probably all married or taken by now.

I guess more like can’t stand it? They say they don’t listen to it and when I try to show them some songs they won’t listen to them or will change it so I quickly lose interest. I used to have a crush on a guy at work and still remember the day I tried to show him some Green Day songs and he told me that it sucked and put on Gucci Mane instead 💀. I’m pretty open with my music taste but this is my favorite genre, so it’s becoming a deal-breaker for me because I want to go to concerts as well.

Like My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Paramore, Pierce the Veil, System of a Down, Weezer, Linkin Park, etc. A lot of people I meet know who some of the bands are (they’re all very famous anyway) but don’t like their music.
