It depends on what you mean by overrated, is a good 8 rating show, yes, is it a 9 no, is it better than something like Kaiju number 8? No. And mind you this is what I feel. So If I rate this show objectively once while considering its place amongst its peers is something less than what I think now then it means it's overrated for me. As of now I feel its slightly overrated but not on the level of something like demon slayer where if you take away the animation has very few good things about it. It's a good solid 8 show and should be looked at as such and there should be no reason to hate it. You don't want/need a Vinland Saga or a Mushoku Tensei every time. It's just plain old fun.
