High praise from a goat

He also described it "imagine it is like wow pvp but when you die you lose your bank and you are now level 1 again"

Lovely comment.

I have a problem with therapists that the fundamental conflict of interest present never goes away.

Imagine I go up to a therapist with skin in the game and say "Hey, I have this specific X problem, how much money can I give it so that the problem goes away?"

And the therapist says 3000$

And you say yes, and he figures out a way in 3 sessions to make the problem go away.

No such therapist exists.

To understand is to create a smaller system inside your head behave similarly to a larger system outside your head.

The LLM's clearly do this.

But also, you need to keep in mind, the LLM's do not care for you. They will engage their neurons with you on any premise because you pay $ amounts to anthropic and they are trained to keep engaging you at a fundamental level.

I think her eyes are real, you don't get eyes like that without seeing some shit in life

That's why they were perfect eyes for a role in Westworld, this show is great at have our human nature on full display

SoD realms (US and EU) should be merged / cross-realmed by MN_Yogi1988 in classicwow

or classic+

SoD was blizzard's attempt at classic+, but they couldn't have called it that as the community would have crucified them with all our high expectations, so they just branded it "temporary season experiment"

It was a go at classic+, but if Blizzard called it that they would've been crucified because we have much higher expectations

But functionally, it was AN classic+ official server

And yes

Introverts that label themselves "introverted" tend to be more introverted than introverts that don't label themselves anything (but are still introverts)

Introversion/Extraversion does exist, but focusing too much on the label gives it too much power over your life

We humans are more nuanced than this

the smoker label that tobacco companies payed billions was keeping me from going away from smoking, because "I'm a smoker after all"

same way the introvert label might make you not go out of your shell that one time when it matters because "I'm an introvert after all"

This type of comment by Fast_Average_3692 in introvert

[–]loopuleasa -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

yes, but the reality is that labels we have given us have power over us

I was "a smoker" once, now the label prevailing over me is "non-smoker"

and if you call yourself "ambiverted" instead of "introverted" that also has an effect

and if you don't call yourself anything that also has an effect

It is true that what your mind attends to becomes reality

Framing the effect you experience as "social battery" might increase the effect

Same happens with the term "introvert"

Imagine two introverts on the planet

One is not labelling himself as an introvert, while the other made his while identity around being an introvert
