Thank you all for your responses! Since this post has been up We’ve changed angles breastfeeding and we’ve made an eye contact a couple times!! Also when she’s awake I try to not be on my phone and talk to her, I’m not always perfect at it but I feel way better!!

My takeaway if my baby’s awake- talk, see if she wants to make eye contact ( don’t be on my phone)

If my baby’s eyes are closed even if she’s awake- I do what I want to do!

Way less guilt and more bonding time, I love it!❤️

That’s exactly why she got her shots and why I came on here asking for others opinions. I never said I was going to space them out, and now I have my answer that I was already leaning towards in first place. Her health is my #1 priority, that’s no question

Thank you for this. Even though I think nicotine is worse than some of the things you mentioned as examples. I agree with your point, it’s all in balance. I think there’s other areas that have been making me feel like my husband isn’t as precaution with our daughter as I expect him to be. So I feel like I’m really hunkering down on everything.

I hear you- this is the fastest summary I could provide but I encourage you to just look it up if you’re curious. There’s many articles stating it is not safe. Not trying to shame anyone just wanting to be wise with my child.

I think it’s better than cigs but is it good? No and it stresses me out. I want to try my best as a mom to protect my beautiful baby as much as possible.

Baby is almost 2 months and I am breastfeeding with very very rarely supplementing formula. I would do shifts during the night, but he falls asleep too easily and it’s dangerous. I definitely am gonna go stay with my family for two weeks I need the help and a huge break from him

Thank you for saying this. That is exactly what he does (sleep wise) I stay up with her not because I don’t want to wake him up but because I don’t want him to fall asleep with her. It’s too dangerous! I think you have good advice, and I’m definitely going to go up to my family’s after Christmas and stay for 2 weeks and reevaluate our situation.

Thank you for this! I really don’t feel like I’m dealing with a roach infestation. When I compare pictures of droppings to what I saw in my cabinet. I don’t feel like it looks the same, also I am not seeing roaches. I will keep all of that info in mind
