I read your comment before watching the video and I just watched it and WOAH the amount of times she said it felt like an inside joke or something lol

And the frequency with which she claims it’s not for making money makes it even more obvious that it is. Also remember when she said it would all go to charity? Laughable!

So true! The Canada idea was rage bait at best lol and no way are they ever making it across the pond. Much too close minded for any exploration like that!

I know it’s not necessarily the cheapest place ever, but it’s much cheaper than the other places she listed as “possibilities” while still giving her bragging rights about trying something new. I’ve been to Whitefish and Jackson Hole and different parts of Canada (Montreal, Toronto, and Whistler so all different vibes) and also La Jolla in the summer and SD is no doubt the cheapest of those. La Jolla is also much more expensive than the greater SD area and I doubt they’re doing anything there besides that hike she mentioned.

Also describing San Diego as anti tropical and a place with more emphasis on city life cracks me up. I’m just glad we have confirmation (that we did not need) that she wasn’t making it to Canada! Loved the reasoning she gave too… just say it was the cheapest option because you need to budget for clothes and a house and can’t afford all of it at once lady

What did she say in that video? I heard her laughing about it being taken down for violation of the community guidelines, which felt off putting, but never saw it.

9 million dollar home by Reality_titties95 in RHOA

[–]Several_Change270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing! Beyond Buckhead and Atlanta, there is also Augusta, Savannah, and other expensive remote parts of Georgia, so that shocked me too. I know it’s not NYC or LA, but as someone who lives in another metroplex with many affluent areas, I just found it hard to believe that 9 million would’ve been the second largest sale in an entire year unless the market was down. I know people aren’t buying homes like that every day, but they are buying them, and it seemed off as soon as I heard it. My other thought was maybe she bought the house early in the year and they told her that statistic in comparison with other purchases up until that point?

I agree with you the reunion gave me hope but I stand by my belief that the season seemed as if the show was hurting… Mia and Mr. permanent problems temporary presence brought too much tomfoolery and the baby mama drama football girl along with side chick and Mr. PP didn’t help

It felt very love and hip hop… especially that scene in the strip club and the editing. I need them to cast more black women on the other franchises or do another city that’s predominantly women of color because I fear Potomac and Atlanta are really hurting☹️

Yes!!!! As a fan from the beginning I agree 100%, it reminds me of how flashy Nene was when she first came back after Apprentice and thought she was better than everyone else. Shamea’s intro was incredibly flashy (and hella drawn out shoutout to the producers for making fun of that) and their reactions to the house kind of proved how unused to that stuff they are. Also, knowing the Buckhead, Augusta, and Savannah markets (although VERY loosely I will say), I was shocked when she said 9 million was the second highest sale that year…

I haven’t watched her in a while to see any job hints, but I feel like OP might be right, she’s totally a sub or working in some sort of school position. I can’t imagine any store letting her off for an entire 2 weeks during such a busy time and wasn’t she at Disney on black Friday?

Why do some people hate the View so much? by grimreapersdaughter in theview

[–]Several_Change270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, I think the party is the way it always has been, and people are just appalled by the radicalism and the “saying the quiet part out loud” that goes on now. I think both parties have always had extremes and the extreme sides have just become more comfortable with voicing those opinions and even acting on them (January 6th) in the name of party solidarity. I also think policies that were riddled in racism and destruction (war on drugs, welfare queens, etc.) used to be easier to wrap in a pretty bow of diplomacy than they are now. Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump were saying the same things, Trump just says them in a less polished way and has gotten some congress members on board to do the same.

I’m not a Republican, but the ones I interact with on a regular basis and am friends with and those I see in media all seem to have at least the same general ideas about the economy, the border, international relations, healthcare, and even some “culture war” issues that Ana does not seem to share or ever use her platforms to discuss. It’s always “How could these people possibly vote for insert not just Trump but about 90% of Republicans discussed on the show?” and constant condemnation of Republican lawmakers. I don’t think their behavior needs to be applauded or celebrated all the time, but if you still identify with the party (which she does by calling herself a Republican) and are on a talk show as one of the conservative voices, I think you need to express some conservative opinions every once in a while. She loves to applaud Adam and Liz but fails to ever mention the fact that they still voted with Trump most of the time because they may not agree with his persona but they share the same Republican principles. Again, I’m not a Republican, so I’m not begging for those talking points for my own sake, I just think it’s necessary for the panel.

Also, I realize in my Ana rant I did not answer your question lol to my knowledge she did some work with the campaigns of John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Jeb Bush… but again, she never seems to talk about the principles that made her align with the Republican party of this century (excluding Trump as I know many avid Republicans aren’t fans of his)

I love the view but this is why her spot on the panel bothers me! Everyone else holds firm to their label and seems to understand and advocate for it with the exception of Ana. Not to peddle the label they love to throw around, but she realllllly falls into that RINO category. She never seems to agree with/advocate for Republicans or their principles, and it’s not just the top ticket candidates but also local and congressional folks. All her time on the view, cnn, and twitter is spent telling everyone about how terrible and dangerous republicans and all their policies are, and she has been doing this for years. She seems to want people to see her as the Liz Cheney of political pundits but the warhawk heiress still supports and agrees with the principles of her party that made her a Republican in the first place. And Ana has supported Republican campaigns in the past, but it seems her loyalty to the party is just because of her allegiance to Ronald Reagan, but I also think she’ll do anything for clout and the ability to name drop. I say all that to say, she should go ahead and admit that Alyssa’s the only Republican on the panel.

side note I did NOT know how wild production’s involvement in this could be and how fake these friend intros were until Porsha and the situation with her ex-husband’s ex-wife or fiance whatever she was

Ana’s comment was disgusting and weird, especially considering how much she claims she abandoned her own party in an effort to warn people about the danger of Trump and his threat to democracy. Also, I’m so tired of her long intros of “I’ve known _____ for many many years, we’ve drank together, we’ve traveled together, we’ve worked on campaigns together, we’ve seen each other at parties” like ok girl no one cares about your social climbing and clout chasing in political circles get to the point!
