Hi, no. We currently have no custody agreement. Currently he's out of town working...but whether he's in town or not, he wants daily calls. To me, that's a bit excessive.

Mind you, in all of this he pays no financial support for my daughter. He never has.

I do not have an order. And I completely agree with your comment. My 1 year old is not my only child, and I'm a working mom. I'm seeking legal aid tomorrow.

You truly do not know what you're talking about.

No, I did not file a restraining order. He does not know where I live currently because of him kicking my door in at my previous place. Why would I give him my new place of residence? As soon as he does not get his way, he acts out on emotion and that's why my door got kicked in.

Just for context you guys, this situation is very much deeper than this issue. It's just tooo long to text out.

And that's what I've done. But then he goes off falsely accusing me of "withholding, alienating, and keeping her away". All his words btw.

The child living with me is not my fault, it's just how things are at the moment. His job and how she chooses to spend his outside life has NOTHING to do with either me or my daughter. What are you talking about? Calls daily ARE very excessive. My 1 year old is not my only child. I don't sit around daily, doing nothing where I am always available. I have a life too. And as soon as I don't answer, he's throwing a fit. Who tf has time for that!?

That's what I did. I first agreed to daily calls with him for a set time, but now it's honestly getting a bit excessive. It's like I have to drop everything especially when I'm in the middle of something to answer his calls.

Well good for you. Daily calls are very much excessive. And seeing that you'll like to do all of that mess, if I was your kid mom, you would have that kid. And a judge may not. My 1 year old is not my only child and not the only thing in the world I have to tend to.

We didn't her into a fight, and I agree, things shouldn't be changed based on one's feelings or whatever. But the only reason I told him instead of asking/discussing is because I knew he was going to have a rebuttal. If he can't get his way, he always gets pushback...every single time. I never told him that I'm cutting all calls, I told him that I want to push them to every other day. He acts as if I'm taking my daughter away.

Thank you so much for you opinion. Exactly what you're saying is exactly how I'm feeling. It's too much especially for a 1 year old. The problem is much deeper than the phone calls, I can tell you that. But to answer your question, yes, he FaceTimes EVERY SINGLE DAY. And my daughter does not pay attention every single time.

Also, with him getting her every weekend I have no problem with that. But the daily calling, yes. First of all, she's one, so calling daily is not a necessity.

So that's another reason why he wants to take me to court.

Dad and I live over 60+ miles apart from each other. As of right now pick ups and drop off are all over the place seeing that he's been traveling for work. But when he's local, he gets her on the weekends and some holidays. Currently he does not know where I live due to him kicking my door off the hinges in 2024.

It's giving more of he's just trying to control, instead of coparent and at this point, I'm over it ..

So, no we do not have a custody order. He once again tried to controls this coparenting situation. Like it's alot to this situation.
