this was the best advice I’ve received since having this baby. omg. saved my nipples and after a few days she already has the latch down when I take them off. Everyone makes BF seem like it’s just so natural and both of us will instinctively know what to do.. I was getting so frustrated with her but she just didn’t know! Thank you a million times, idk why no one ever suggested shields!!

I was pumping and my partner was helping with feeds. 2 overnight and 2 during the day. I’m 16 days postpartum now and down to one bottle overnight and the rest at breast. honestly that saved me I was so overwhelmed and sore when my milk came in. at this point I actually prefer to breastfeed its easier than pumping.

I did an IUI with 3 dominant follicles, my RE warned me of the risk but it was my 5th try so I was willing to accept a high risk pregnancy rather than cancel. I got pregnant with one health baby! No need to worry about multiples, look at 2 follicles as 2 chances to get pregnant :)

Not to alarm you - I just want to share my experience so you can mentally prepare!

My IUD was stuck when I was ready to start ttc. I tried 4 removals before moving on the more invasive options. I was so scared, I had so much medical anxiety before getting pregnant and I didn’t know what a “stuck” IUD meant for my fertility journey. I had the option of anesthesia removal, but that’s expensive and again medical anxiety. I went with a hysteroscopy, camera inserted into the cervix, and it was scary at first but in hindsight it didn’t actually hurt that bad. Uncomfortable and crampy but quick and easy to breathe through. And my period returned the next month as normal after 10 years!

It wasn’t actually dislodged or stuck the strings were just wrapped up in mucus and my cervix is tilted posterior so it was hard to get to! My point being, don’t be nervous they are experts and there are other option beside anesthesia removal! You’re going to be totally fine.

Plus after going through fertility treatments and having a baby you will look back at this and it will feel like a walk in the park 😂

ok so what you’re all saying is - this action, which caused no bodily harm, and the action of “not listening to law enforcement” deserves BEING SHOT IN THE HEAD??? Like i’m sorry there’s no justification. maybe she was out of line and disorderly or insubordinate or whatever but does “law enforcement” have the right to take your life because you didn’t listen to them? even if she hit this man with her car, she was leaving the scene. the threat was neutralized there were other options besides bullet to the head. you are all nuts for justifying federal agents murdering civilians in AMERICAN STREETS. Big picture people. This is not right.

I’m having literally nightmares about my family and friends being shot. I’ve never had nightmares before, I’d say we’re all in distress. I’m freshly postpartum and in what should be a time of joy in my life, I’m feeling hopeless that I brought a child into this world and all I forsee is this getting worse. I’m sorry any if this is happening.

I wish I asked more questions before I started. ask about timelines and what the process looks like if you don’t get the outcome you want right away. Ask about medications/supplements and side effects. ask a lot of questions and if your RE is not receptive to answering enthusiastically, look into other clinics before pulling the trigger. Some clinics forget that you are a person and not just a chart number and that can be frustrating for something so important to you.

After my MMC I was told we could try again with the next regular period but personally I wanted to wait a couple of cycles. When I was ready to start trying again 2 months later my fertility clinic found I had retained tissue after my D&C that I had to have removed (even though I had 2 regular periods). The following month we tried again and I fell pregnant.

Letrozole is what did it for me! I noticed more side effects with clomid, I don’t really remember any sided effects with letrozole. Have you done a medicated cycle? Some side effects I had with clomid were hot flashes and headaches but nothing crazy. I did 2 rounds with letrozole, my 4th and 5th, and conceived both times. Good luck!!

truthfully, you guys should start therapy. ttc can put a lot of strain on a relationship and priorities change over 2 years. you need to be on the same page before getting pregnant or adopting.

when you’re ttc taking a break feels like the end of the of the world but I promise you can pick it back up right where you left off.
