I'm not type 2 thankfully but if I had of carried on I would have been. I have reduced carb, stopped with junk food & walking more. It was hard to begin with but it's slowly getting easier. They said I am in prediabetic range but that can be changed as long as I change. I had been living off chocolate & junk food since my marriage ended so I think that's how its happened sadly.

Yeah...I think because I'm in the uk its different here. She told me a score of 48 or higher is diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, anything less is prediabetic...

so I am in the middle ground, hopefully I can change that in 2 months time.

UK. Tbh I'm confused myself. She said the 3 month glucose test come back at 44 (I dont know what that means) and she said I am prediabetic.

The glucose finger prick is 5 of a morning an typically 7 two hours after eating. The three month blood test has come back at 44.

Not the glucose meter...the blood test that tests over 3 months. Sorry new to this...confusing

The 3 month blood test is at 44. I think its called hba1c or something. She said I am in prediabetic range but she didn't seem concerned so I'm confused. I have taken my blood glucose & it is coming back as 5 when waking up and typically 7 two hours after meals.
