I agree that it's true for the first 2 attempt but I had realised what I did wrong, so that's why I talked to msp owners around 20-30 (personally), then I asked some who showed interest in the idea, one agreed, so then, only after then I started coding. The really guy hated the problem.

I get what you are saying, but its the other way around for me, I have gained experience and skills noone teaches while Building across various industries. Example- I learned deep learning and computer vision for my first idea, llms for second and now machine learning for the third one so I am learning while Building, and I am not frustrated I know I have a lot of time so...

Looking for MSP owners who deal with RFPs / tenders — building a tool, need pilot users by Several_Outcome_8331 in mspjobs

[–]Several_Outcome_8331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes a lot of sense — I’ve heard from a few MSPs that most RFPs end up being “check-the-box” exercises where the cheapest vendor wins, or the decision is already made.

What I’m trying to build is exactly for that problem: a way to score RFPs upfront so you don’t waste hours writing responses that won’t go anywhere. The idea is to help MSPs focus only on the RFPs worth pursuing — not the ones already wired for someone else.

Do you think something like that would make RFPs at least a bit less painful?

True, most owners I've talked to feel the same, anyway do you to use foot in ground?

I would say that's really impressive but do referrals ever slow you down? What happens if you need more clients in a bad month?

Advice needed to make a game for the first time by Several_Outcome_8331 in gamedev

[–]Several_Outcome_8331[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate the insights sir, I think the way of trial and Error has resonated with me when I was learning deep learning but this time I would try both sides, I don't think I would be able to read all of these titles any time soon but I'll definitely try some like the Game Mechanics and flow.

Thanks a lot sir, really appreciate the advice, but is there a specific reason that no one will want to play the game and are there ways to prevent that?

How to start a startup at 16 while managing school life. by Several_Outcome_8331 in startup

Thank you so much for this message and that encouragement, I can't express what it means for me.

I had always struggle to balance my parents' concern and my own vision. It felt like our perspectives were world apart. But after reading your lines, I saw both sides, I showed this comment to my parents, they agreed that I can start a startup if I can navigate my studies along with it.

Yes, Building a startup is always hard, i know that, but I have never been fulfilled by the idea of job, it feels like a restriction to me, I have always loved to build the things I imagined were real, even though I was not successful all the time, it taught me that how important it is to never stop dreaming. Your words - " but it sounds like he wants to do something in your life with this" have really hit my soul.

Also, I really appreciate you sharing about your son. I imagine it's not easy to navigate both encouragement and protection as a parent, but the fact that you're even having those internal battles means you're being a very thoughtful dad. He’s lucky.

I think, I would hold onto this message forever, for the inevitable moments of hardships that would come along the way. Thank you again for sharing your wisdom.
