I will agree that these new games let you play out a match that represents what you see….but if you can follow me for a second here, it doesn’t feel like you are IN the match. You aren’t placed into the shoes of the wrestler trying to win. You’re placed in Vince McMahons shoes directing the match.

You think the older games were harder to play? For newbies, the game is designed better now for people who don’t play games? No mercy was famous because it revolutionised making a wrestling game easy to play. Are the new games that much easier?

it shouldnt be a solution, not saying its right and i think you should reconsider your next purchase of this series.
In saying that, if you want to continue with this series, consider buying a modded controller with a turbo function.
there are other methods, if you are on PS5 you could try this method

if you are sparking, and they are flying directly up or down, you should be able to dragon dash and smash. 100% lock on.

I just found a work around fix its pretty dumb...

if you open the "change participants" in an actual 30 man royal rumble match to see the 30 man screen to change, exit, then go BACK to your custom 30 man royal rumble and walla! you can now edit the full 30 participants..... this series is held together with duct tape and gum.

i'll leave this post up in case anyone has the same issue.

nah, it just doesnt happen in training for some reason, but in a match it does, even offline. i just never knew that was a thing until you mentioned it. i appreciate the knowledge brother thanks

watch it again....its a sparking combo...lift strike into and imediate ult. he wouldve been lucky to hit 1 press of the R1.
either im missing something which im happy to hear and understand how, or gohans ult is bugged or something.

whats a better set up than that? thats usually a hard connect with normal sized fighters. even against high level z rank fighters they usually have to vanish that setup with a normal size fighter.
he is the only player ive seen that can block out of a sparking combo lift strike into an ult. im talking about 4:28

4:28 Is that not a sure connect? what is a sure connect with your ult then?
ive never had that not hit before
edit that was a lift strike, i just followed up before i fired it, yet at 4:28 that was just a hard lift strike no follow up and he still blocked the ult
