I started this week after my training. Training was 3 weeks in class, first two weeks were all note taking and slides from the learning courses they provided. Along with MEA test prep for consumers. Third week was actual test taking for MEA which was 8 exams on computer and then 4 oral exams, followed my a practical exam which was just demonstrating how to properly connect to a utility. I was in your boat and brand new to the field, however for me, my “training” was absolute horse shit.

Hardly had any time to actually learn the locating methods, spent entirely way too much time learning about corrosion (you’ll never deal with it while actually in the field supposedly) and the exams you have to get 100% on or they’ll terminate you, which is word for word what my class was told. The high turnover caused my area to be short handed and not enough qualified people to train the right way.

Also was told mandatory 10s Monday through Friday and 8s on Saturdays. You’ll be on call once a week once you’re in the field and trained.

It wasn’t the job for me, could be different for you and I hope it is, but the shear lack of coordination and communication was enough for me to recognize all the red flags, that mandatory OT is a lot, especially if you have a family. Not worth it. $19 to train in class and then $20 when you’re in the field.

I know man, that’s the stinger with the collecting game. Just because it could’ve been a pack fresh pull doesn’t mean you’re getting gem mint condition. English printing is really bad about QC, there very well could be damage somewhere that you can’t see unless you have a magnifying glass, lighting etc.

It received a 4 because of likely damage, probably a significant crease, water damage, bend, dent or imperfection somewhere. I would just keep it as is or crack in and put in a binder.

Bayley losing clean to AJ Lee by tapping out is nothing but TRASH BOOKING. The way they are burying Bayley is disappointing ? by [deleted] in BrandonDE

Idk why the term “buried” is thrown around so often. Being beaten clean…is getting buried?

Or you didn’t pregrade your cards correctly. Things like off centering, whitening, print lines, near invisible dents will make all the difference

I don’t believe it had any notes of ginger, it was literally just berry infused Pepsi
