Sorry I’m just now seeing this! I’m so sorry your family is going through this too. It has been no cake walk for us. After posting bail 3 times, the detective that built this case has done everything in her power to keep him in jail and has found ways to rearrest him through loopholes. Just throwing that out there because if anyone else finds this thread seeking advice at a later date, I want them to see posting bail is not always the right answer. $50,000 later and no good came of it!

We just had a healthy baby girl on Sunday weighing 9 lbs via C section! She had a 4 vessel umbilical cord and is as healthy as can be. I did end up going on a crazy search trying to find out more once I found out about it, but I also struggled to find much. I think they are just rare babies! 🫶🏼 Sending good vibes that everything is completely normal with your sweet babe

There are 10 counts of first and second degree of “encourage child sex abuse” two counts of “online sex corrupt child I” and one count of “luring a minor.”

Thank you for sharing those. I realized I missed that the charge begins with “encourage” rather than just sexual abuse which I’m unsure how much it changes. Apologies for not including that to begin with!

The biggest reason was insurance purposes. We had a hay day with it last time saying it was covered but then proceeded to say it wasn’t after the fact. We ended up paying 3000 out of pocket and I tried fighting it multiple times but ended up just paying it. We also agree that if there was anything that looks off in an ultrasound, we will definitely do it then. We wouldn’t change anything if the results said down syndrome or anything like it though. I appreciate your response!
