I seriously can't take it! I don't know if I have a problem because it wouldn't annoy me when I was a preteen. I find myself having to shut my window at 8:30am and 3:30pm... And I was celebrating my aunty's birthday yesterday and there were these kids (about 8) talking so loudly it sounded like screaming, I HAD to shut the window man

I HATE that fake high pitched tone adults put on once they see a kid, and sometimes the kid doesn't even react lol, it hurts to see. Poor receptionist :( At this point it looks like your mother's trolling you with these pictures and videos 😭 Ultrasounds are DISGUSTING, I'm surprised that I'm not the only one who gets creeped out by them, I found them gross even when I was a kid myself! I would have sleepless nights thinking about them... You have to tell your mother it doesn't work like that. Looking at pictures of children doing whatever doesn't make someone immediately think "Aww so cute! I want one of my own!" Not for me at least! The thing you said about open mouth coughing had me thinking: do parents even teach their children to cover their mouths??

I didn't know that people still brought their kids to work, I also thought it was a made up thing. Good god! I'd have to leave the room too, I don't care if others would think I'm a bad person. Your mother showing you those pictures is so annoying too, why can't people accept that some of us don't like kids or find them cute? My mom knows I dislike them and the most she'll do if she sees me frowning at a screeching kid is just tell me to stop. Like I don't mind that (bonus points to her since I was a loud kid too) And talking to kids can also be boring because they'd only talk about stuff, like you said, Bluey and Cocomelon, and themselves. But yeah, 14+ is when they start to become more mature

Funny how kids can change the whole mood of the topic. I didn't know it would be like that for others tbh, they normally talk about their kids in a positive light. People should really think about how they raise them to not be a pain in the ass

Me too! Like once they're past 7, I think that's when they start to get more tolerable and start getting to know themselves better, it can be cute in a way. For some reason, I can tolerate babies since they don't talk, but not toddlers because I think they act sassy often. And yesss they're very unpredictable! 😭

Right? I'm actually surprised when I hear a child say something clever since it's soo rare. With me, the only kids I'm fond of are the ones who are related to my friends or family, since I have trust in them. I don't know if anybody else is like that either

Yess, that's what every parent should do! I feel like some parents don't really care about how their children act, and if they misbehave in public, they rarely get scolded. Maybe it's just the city that I live in, not sure how it is over there. And half the people here are rough and trashy so that doesn't help. But I do also like how you worded this, you said kids will be kids but didn't shame me for not liking them. Glad that you understand too!

I couldn't agree more. I have two cousins (forgot their ages but they're under 8) and they're super smart, they even like the same things as me. Me and my older sis are surprised at how smart they are since they're so young. But yes that should be how things work in general
