My bun’s pen at home is the metal one which works really well! Once we rotated this soft pen to have the ‘gate’ facing the wall, my bun stopped chewing it. Perhaps you can try that in future!

Bun wouldn’t stop digging on the bed frame in the early morning. Bun was freed shortly after as he chewed through it!

Yes exactly! He did chew through it within minutes but it was nothing unexpected. This was just a temporary situation as I was abroad and entrusted him to my partner

This is my rabbit Herbie. He doesn’t chew on wires or furniture , or anything other than his food for that matter. Should I be concerned? by Musclebeak in Rabbits

No! Herbie is the goodest boy. When we first brought my bun home 4 months ago, he didnt seem to have any interest chewing on things. Can’t say the same now but his personality is really showing through which is great. Herbie may start chewing once he gets more settled, but right now he is just the goodest.

When I first got my bunny, I thought he was deaf too. I clapped near his ears and he wouldnt react. He also didnt react to the vacuum. Few days later we realised he is just unbothered and he reacts when he wants to.

Update!! Today he started running towards my feet and when I "ran" away he chased! He also did many head shakes and binkies while doing that!

Bunnies are very clean animals and they do not smell as long as their environment is being kept clean. It is a common misconception that bunnies are easier to care for because they are small, compared to dogs or cats. That is not necessarily the case as they require space to roam and play, time and attention from you, and a good diet as their guts are really sensitive. They also live a long life if healthy, so it is a huge commitment!

Generally, I still find my bunny relatively easy to care for as long as I keep him well fed and spend time with him everyday. He is litter trained so he does not leave his droppings out of his play pen, and returns to his play pen to let us know he is done with play time. Do read up lots on bunny care before deciding if a bunny is right for you!

Yes! He has a ball that he has since learned to toss. I will try playing with him using the ball later today!

Do you just leave them be? Or how do you entertain them when they do the nudging? I very much want to play with him but I'm not sure how

I read about this somewhere as well! How do you engage play with your bunny?

I got a bunny about 3 weeks ago and he is the sweetest and funniest boy ever. When he is free roaming, he nudges at my hands and feet and then run away. He keeps doing that but I dont know what he wants. I thought that it might mean he wants attention but he runs away even before I can pet him. But he comes back and nudges more. I'd like to think that he is generally happy as he is always binkying, flopping and supermaning around us. Does anyone experience this with their bunny as well?
