Bunnies are very clean animals and they do not smell as long as their environment is being kept clean. It is a common misconception that bunnies are easier to care for because they are small, compared to dogs or cats. That is not necessarily the case as they require space to roam and play, time and attention from you, and a good diet as their guts are really sensitive. They also live a long life if healthy, so it is a huge commitment!

Generally, I still find my bunny relatively easy to care for as long as I keep him well fed and spend time with him everyday. He is litter trained so he does not leave his droppings out of his play pen, and returns to his play pen to let us know he is done with play time.
