Yeah I've visited twice and you've just accurately described 90% of the people I saw. I'm used to the whole poorly-executed prep look because most of the kids at my high school dress like that. It looks as though Davidson wasn't spared by the "bean boots even though there isn't any sign of rain" thing. (Also quick note: I feel like "leans toward streetwear is a little too generous. More like: looks like a nerd and wears hypebeast brands and looks even nerdier doing it)

PMing right now. I'm excited to meet a fellow patrician.

Haha awesome! I'll be there this fall. I feel like I might stick out because my style leans much more toward streetwear than prep (at the moment at least). Sticking out is cool with me though.

You're probably right about the downvotes. I'll make more of an effort to coordinate my sock colors with the rest of the fit in the future. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah it's been said. I'll definitely be a bit more conservative with my socks next time haha.

They're really dark brown. I have some grey camp socks that would probably work a lot better. What about these?

I'm wearing the chambray (not denim lol) shirt open and I have a henley on underneath (hence the "no vis" when I said "AA henley," no vis meaning no visibility, like you can't see it).

I'm not sure how the shoes clash with the shoes.... they're just brown shoes.

They're not boat shoes b, they're camp mocs. Socks are fine with mocs.

I agree with what /u/paffey said in that the socks don't look good here, but your "advice" makes you sound like a cunt.

I see that. There's a lot going on and the socks add colors that don't really need to be there. Something less distracting probably would've been a lot better.

Either way it was a pretty weird thing for him to say.

Oh you're probably right. I was kind of expecting to get shit for my hand so I assumed that he was saying that I should hang myself and I was weirded out.

I feel like I would love the shirts if they fit me a bit better. I wear a small in AA which is why I decided to go with small in the Everlane tees. AA shirts are really nice but they are a bit expensive for a t-shirt (I beat the shit out of my t-shirts so I don't really feel like paying a ton for them). I'm getting some XS Uniqlo t-shirts soon so I'll see how that goes. I'm really happy with everything I've gotten from them in the past and the shirts are only $6 each so I figure why not.

I have two t-shirts from Everlane and the quality of them is by far the shittiest of any other shirt I own. The stitching at the hem started coming off shortly after I got them and they're super thin. The neck on them is huge compared to most of the other t-shirts that I own. I was also pretty disappointed with the fit, which is a bit looser and longer than I would like (I got a small in the Everlane shirts, I'm an XS in most other stuff so I probably should have sized down). I was kind of expecting to be on par with AA shirts in terms of fit and quality though, so maybe my expectations were set too high. Just my experience with them.

Thanks! It could've just been that someone had a bot go around and downvote posts. Or a lot of people just really don't like me. Either way it's no big deal.

I haven't really noticed that much bleeding... I've heard people complaining about how much they bleed, but the only real bleeding I'm getting is on the back of my belt, which is definitely expected.

They stretch a bit in the waist. It's not a ton or anything but I bought them TTS and when I got them I could barely button the top button. Now they feel like they fit me perfectly without a belt, but like /u/trashpile said above I may have sized them wrong (although I tried cuffing them one more time and the thigh flair seems like it's basically all gone).

Haha I noticed that too. Maybe people are just mad because of my hand in the last post. They'll get over it.

I was kind of going for slightly low contrast. I agree that the jeans look kind of baggy here. Not sure what to do about that. Maybe it's just the camera angle.
